Anniversary rewards: 20 free pulls and two 5-star selectors
The core anniversary package is 10 Intertwined Fates handed out through the login track and 1,600 Primogems delivered by in-game mail, which works out to 20 wishes before you touch anything else in the patch. The Initial Top-Up Bonus also resets, so the first-purchase double returns on every Genesis Crystal tier once 7.1 maintenance ends.
The bigger news is that there are two character selectors this year, not one. The familiar standard 5-star selector returns, and a separate limited 5-star selector sits alongside it with a fixed shortlist of older featured characters.

How to claim the free 5-star characters
Note: mail rewards expire, so claim the 1,600 Primogems and the accompanying items within 30 days of them arriving. Login rewards are day-gated, and a missed day does not backfill later.
Event Wish banners and new weapons
Phase 1 runs Vesna and Vodyanitsa together, and Phase 2 brings back Skirk and Escoffier. The two new signature weapons, Beyond the Chrysalis and Hymn of the Maelstrom, appear on the weapon banner alongside the debut characters.
Vesna and Vodyanitsa: kits and traversal
Vesna is a 5-star Anemo sword DPS. Her showcase centered on wide Anemo skill coverage and a flight mechanic that lets her move through the air rather than relying on the standard glider, and she also has her own character quest with cosmetic rewards attached.
Vodyanitsa is a 5-star Hydro catalyst. Her kit pairs Hydro damage with two unusual out-of-combat mechanics, a custom swimming movement and a singing ability that she uses in the field.
Ascension materials for Vesna come from a new world boss, the Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow, which is added with the patch.
Archon Quest Chapter VII, Acts III and IV
Two Archon Quest acts land in 7.1. Act III is White Night, Like a Dream Upon Waking, and Act IV shares the version title, A Requiem for the Underworld. Story teasers showed Donica, the Tsaritsa, Pantalone, and Dainsleif, and the act culminates in a boss battle against Ronova.
Running alongside the quests is a Secret Tsaritsa Assignment menu, a dialogue-driven feature with its own set of character interactions.
Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon and the side events
The main event is Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon, a mix of traversal, combat, and puzzle mini-games. Completing it awards a free 4-star sword called Silver Light, which finishes at 510 base ATK with an ATK% substat topping out at 41.3 percent and a passive tied to Elemental Mastery.
Smaller events fill out the rest of the patch, including the Carefree Snowball Fight, a monster arena betting mode called Predictive Victory Dynamics, a shooting challenge, Ever-Freezing Illusion, Overflowing Favor, and Across the Frozen Wilds, Honing One’s Edge. Genius Invokation TCG gets the Tabletop Troupe: A Gathering on Adventure’s Eve event plus new Columbina and Eluga character cards.
Redeeming the Special Program codes
The Special Program dropped redemption codes worth 100 Primogems each. Livestream codes are short-lived and stop working roughly a day after they appear, so redeem them the same day rather than saving them.
You need Adventure Rank 10 to use them. Paste each code on the official gift redemption page, sign in with the account you play on, and pick the correct server. Rewards arrive in your in-game mail, so relog if the mailbox looks empty.
Put together, 7.1 is a heavier anniversary patch than usual. The 20 free wishes only cover part of a single 5-star attempt if you lose a 50/50, but the two selectors are the real draw, and both are claimed from the same event menu once the update is installed.
