Marvel’s Wolverine: How to Get Every Trophy and the Platinum

A complete breakdown of all 42 trophies, the collectibles behind them, and the fastest route to the platinum.

A complete breakdown of all 42 trophies, the collectibles behind them, and the fastest route to the platinum.

Marvel’s Wolverine carries a compact trophy list built around Insomniac’s usual completion-friendly design. Most trophies pop just by playing, a handful need specific combat moves or one-off interactions, and the toughest work is collectibles. Everything can be cleaned up after the credits, so nothing is permanently missable.

Quick answer: Beat the main story, find all 102 collectibles (68 Material Crates, 20 Whisky Bottles, 14 Nightmare Doors), and use mission replay in the Nightmare Cabin to mop up combat tallies and reach Level 36. That unlocks the platinum, I’m The Best There Is….

Trophy count and platinum requirements

There are 42 trophies in total: 1 platinum, 4 gold, 9 silver, and 28 bronze. All of them are offline, and none are tied to difficulty. You can play on the easiest setting, “The Man,” where Logan cannot be knocked out, without losing any trophy. A single playthrough plus cleanup is enough, and the whole set takes roughly 15 to 20 hours.

  • No missable trophies. Everything is reachable through Mission Select.
  • Mission Select unlocks after you encounter the second Nightmare Door.
  • After the story, replay any mission from the bed in the Nightmare Cabin.
  • Collectibles carry over into mission replay, so you keep your progress.
  • New Game Plus exists but is not required for any trophy.

Turn on the collectible outline under Settings, then Visuals, then Collectibles and Interact Shaders. It highlights crates, bottles, and XP Caches in a color of your choice, which makes both the collectible and the combat tally trophies far easier to track.

Collectible trophies (the real work)

Collectibles drive most of the harder trophies, and they also feed Logan’s upgrade systems. There are 68 Material Crates, 20 Whisky Bottles, and 14 Nightmare Doors to find. Logan’s senses point out most pickups, so with the shader on you rarely miss one.

TrophyRankRequirement
Crate CollectorSilverCollect all 68 Material Crates.
Full BarrelSilverCollect all 20 Whisky Bottles.
Pathways of the MindSilverDiscover all 14 Nightmare Doors.
But a DramBronzeFirst Whisky Bottle, auto during Homecoming.
Suit UpBronzeCraft your first Suit during Homecoming.
Waking NightmareBronzeFind a Nightmare Door in the wild (One That Got Away).
Adamantium ArmoryGoldCraft 20 standard Suits to fully upgrade health.
Secondary MutationsGoldReach Adaptation Level 10.
Ultimate PredatorSilverReach Player Level 36.

Adamantium Armory needs 20 crafted Suits, all fueled by materials from Material Crates, so finding every crate matters. Deluxe Edition DLC suits do not count toward this trophy. Secondary Mutations comes from completing Nightmare Doors and gathering Whisky Bottles, and you only need about 73.5 percent of the collectibles (roughly 15 bottles and 10 doors) to hit Adaptation Level 10.

By the end of the story you will likely land somewhere around Level 33 to 36. If you finish short of Level 36, replay missions packed with enemies from the Nightmare Cabin to farm the remaining XP.

Combat tally trophies

These count specific actions across the campaign. Use the relevant moves as part of your normal fighting and you will clear most of them naturally. If you come up short, replay missions or run the Gauntlet Nightmare Doors for quick combat encounters.

TrophyRequirementNotes
Parry PerfectedParry 500 times.Press L1 as an enemy attacks.
Cache CrusherDestroy 100 XP Caches.Glowing blue boxes, later red shrines.
Cut Just As Deep100 Helix Claws kills.Helix Claws unlock after Death Comes To Death.
Spiral Cut75 Tornado Spin kills.Level the move and grind gauntlets if short.
Adamantium DreamsAdamantium rank on any Nightmare Trial.Lower difficulty and pick an easy trial.

The Helix Claws release a wide blast with R1 and have a cooldown shown in the bottom right of the screen. Because you unlock them late, expect to top up the 100-kill count through mission replay. XP Caches spawn in large numbers, so destroying every one you pass usually clears Cache Crusher before the credits.

One-off interaction trophies to watch for

Each of these is tied to a single moment or interaction in a specific chapter. They are easy once you know they exist, and they can all be redone through mission replay if you skip past them the first time.

Story trophies that unlock automatically

A large chunk of the list simply pops as you play through the campaign. You cannot miss any of these, so no extra effort is needed beyond finishing each chapter.

Repressed Memories and the platinum

The gold trophy Repressed Memories unlocks a hidden memory that acts as an epilogue. After the story you spawn in the Nightmare Cabin. If you have found all 14 Nightmare Doors and earned at least a bronze rating in each, a fifteenth trial called “Best There Is” appears in the bottom right slot of the cabin.

Complete every Nightmare Door with at least a bronze rating during or after the story. Bronze is enough, you do not need Adamantium on all of them.
Return to the Nightmare Cabin and take on the “Best There Is” trial in the bottom right. Earn at least a bronze rating there.
The cabin opens up. Head outside and follow the scent trail to trigger the hidden memory. Repressed Memories pops when the memory plays.

Once every other trophy is banked, I’m The Best There Is… unlocks on its own as the platinum. You will know the run is finished when that platinum notification appears after your final missing trophy. If anything is still outstanding, the bed in the Nightmare Cabin lets you jump back into any mission to grind XP, farm combat kills, or grab a stray collectible until the set is complete.
