The Argent Strait is the coastal stretch of the Breezy Plains region in Aniimo, and it packs a dozen catchable creatures into a small run of beach, shallow water, grass and stone ruins. Most of them stand out in the open once you know where to look. A few will not appear at all unless the weather or a zone event says so.

Quick answer: Twelve Aniimo spawn here. Work down the coordinate table below, but note that Tromber only appears in rain, Cornet (Prismana) needs a Prismana Flow, and Alpha Tubster must be defeated before capture.

The Argent Strait Aniimo locations and coordinates

Open the map, drop a pin on the coordinates below, and ride over. The level column is what the wild Aniimo displayed when encountered, so expect to be outleveled if you arrive early.

Nimbi-1334, 053338

The Argent Strait itself is a level 28 to 32 zone inside Breezy Plains, and it is dense enough to be worth a full sweep rather than a single trip. Alongside the creatures, the area holds 38 chests, 10 lumin amber, 6 pathfinder challenges, 3 blooms, 3 ecological points, 1 lumin collection and 1 bonfire.

Conditional spawns: rain, Prismana Flow and the Alpha

Three of the twelve will waste your time if you just fly to the marker. Clear these before you bother with the rest of the route.

Tromber (rain only)

Tromber sits on a rock out in the water at -1241, 0566, but it only spawns while it is raining. In clear weather the spot is empty, so check the sky before you commit to the trip and come back when the weather turns.

Cornet (Prismana)

The Prismana variant of Cornet does not roam the beach with the normal form. It appears during a Prismana Flow, which you create yourself by nurturing the branch in the zone. Trigger the flow first, then sweep the coast for it.

It is worth the detour. Cornet (Prismana) is a dual Wind and Electric DPS with an element level of 4, it stands 1.2m tall and weighs 14kg, and it can mimic other instruments to accompany its own singing.

Alpha Tubster

Tubster on this beach is an Alpha at -1142, 0600, which means a fight rather than a straight throw. Beat it down first, then capture it. An Anipod Ultra is the sensible pick here given how much tougher an Alpha is than the surrounding wild spawns.

Beach and shallow water spawns

Start on the shoreline. These four sit close together, and none of them require a weather check.

Cornet

The standard Cornet is on the sand at -1021, 0595, at the eastern end of the run. It is a straightforward catch with no fight attached, so it is a clean first stop if you are riding in along the coast.

Budclaw (Bay Form)

Budclaw’s Bay Form wades in the shallows at -1240, 0638. This is a Rock-element BREAK unit that only lives here, and the coastal population sunbathes until its shell turns bright red to attract a mate.

Shrubclaw (Bay Form)

The evolved form is further along the beach at -1159, 0376. Catching it directly saves you the evolution materials, and it keeps the same Rock element and BREAK role with much sturdier defense. The leaves on its head are wilted from all the sun.

Grassland and stone ruins spawns

Once the shoreline is cleared, move inland. The rest of the roster is split between open grass and the ruins to the west.

Emberpup and Flameruff

Emberpup wanders the grass at -1262, 0660. Flameruff is a short ride west at -1351, 0662, in the same band of open field, and it tends to appear at a lower level than its neighbours.

Celestis and Hummin

These two share the far western corner and are effectively one stop. Celestis is near the large tree at -1687, 0577, and Hummin is a few steps away by the stone ruins at -1691, 0576. Grab both in the same pass.

Iris (Grassland Form), Nimbi and Chirpi

Iris (Grassland Form) drifts around the stone ruins at -1373, 0617, a Grass-element DPS that collects tufts of wool on its petals while it suns itself. Nimbi is at -1334, 0533 near ruins of its own, and Chirpi rounds out the route in the grass at -1269, 0619.

Iris (Grassland Form) also spawns in Nimbus Fields, The Mistwoods and Blitzwood, so if the ruins here are picked clean you have three other habitats to fall back on.

Base stats and evolutions for the strait’s exclusive forms

AniimoElementsRoleHP / ATK / DEF
Iris (Grassland Form)GrassDPS69 / 101 / 53
Budclaw (Bay Form)RockBREAK76 / 64 / 93
Shrubclaw (Bay Form)RockBREAK95 / 80 / 109
Cornet (Prismana)Wind, ElectricDPS96 / 121 / 74

If you would rather raise the Bay Form yourself, Budclaw evolves into Shrubclaw once it hits Aniimo level 21, and the change costs one Loam Stone. Iris takes a different route. It becomes Irisal at Aniimo level 18, but only after you defeat the Alpha Irisal, and it consumes one Sprout Stone.

Two smaller payouts are worth knowing about. Reporting any of these creatures returns 100 Credits, while releasing one gives back growth material: 3 Growth Bud for the stage-one forms like Budclaw (Bay Form) and Iris (Grassland Form), and 2 Growth Flower for Shrubclaw (Bay Form) and Cornet (Prismana).

Confirming a capture registered

A successful throw locks the green targeting reticle onto the Aniimo and the capture sphere closes on it, after which the creature is added to your roster and its Aniilog entry fills in. If the entry is still blank, the throw failed and the Aniimo is either still on the field or has fled the spot.

Clearing all twelve in one loop is realistic as long as you time the visit for rain and set off the Prismana Flow before you start. Everything else on the strait is fixed to its coordinates and will be waiting where the map says it is.
