It sits at Epic rarity, and its whole appeal is movement: equip it and you get a Super Jump that helps you climb, rotate, and slip away from fights.

What the Pond Sprite does
The Pond Sprite lets you press jump again shortly after you land to trigger a Super Jump. That jump sends you higher than a normal one and makes you immune to fall damage on the way down, which is why it’s handy for quick height changes and escaping an early scrap.
The catch is that it runs on charges. The Sprite banks charges over time, shown as an orb on your back, and each Super Jump spends one. If you’re out of charges, the extra jump simply won’t fire until the meter refills.
Leveling the Sprite makes the ability better on both ends. The Super Jump gets stronger, and the time it takes to regenerate a charge drops. You raise its level the same way as any other Sprite, by opening chests and eliminating opponents while it’s equipped.

How to get the Pond Sprite
Cheat Codes are your main source. The v42.20 update changed how Cheat Code rarity works, so Rare (blue) and Epic (purple) codes can now roll Sprites of any rarity rather than locking better Sprites behind a single tier. Because Pond is Epic, purple codes give it the highest chance, but blue codes can produce it too.
Chests can also drop the Pond Sprite since a recent update, with the best odds inside Rare (blue) chests. The chance is low, so codes remain the faster route.
The longer you go without finding a new Sprite, the better your chance of the next roll being one you don’t already own, so an efficient code route beats camping a single wall.

Cheat Codes cluster around certain points of interest on the Chapter 7 Season 4 map. These spots don’t guarantee a code, but they turn them up far more often than the rest of the island:

Trade for the Pond Sprite
When luck is poor, trading provides the most dependable way to secure a missing Sprite. Both players enter a match; the owner then allows the other player to collect and extract the Sprite, after which it can be handed back by reversing the process. Each Sprite unlocks the Cheat Master finish with a particular lobby hack code, not by spending Dust, while Bounty Hunter receives Sprite XP exclusively from eliminations and therefore gains levels through combat rather than chest openings. After you bank any version in your collection, you can equip it from the Override menu for the remainder of the season.
