Coupon codes are NCSOFT’s way of handing out free upgrade materials, consumables, cosmetics and event chests in AION 2, and the redemption field is buried a couple of menus deep. Once you know the path, entering a code takes about ten seconds.
Quick answer: Open Settings from the in-game menu, go to Miscellaneous → Account, type the code into the Enter Coupon field with no extra spaces, then press Confirm. Rewards arrive in your mailbox.

How to tell the code worked, and where the rewards go
A valid entry produces an on-screen confirmation stating that the coupon was successfully registered and the item awarded, usually followed by a summary listing everything the code granted. That message is the only confirmation you need — there is no pending state to wait on.
Delivery itself goes to your in-game mailbox, and from there into the Cube inventory once you collect it. Past coupons have dropped things like Battle Enhance Scroll [Bound], Clash Rune Chest [Bound], Gear Change Voucher: Fire Temple and +10 Conqueror weapon, armor and accessory selection chests, alongside Odyle Energy, Resurrection Spiritstone and Daily Dungeon Instant Completion Tickets.
Delivery is normally close to instant, but it can take up to 24 hours during busy periods, and the exact destination can differ from event to event.
Redeem a code on the NCSOFT website
NCSOFT also runs a browser-based coupon page, which is the route certain promotional and expansion codes require. Sign in with the NC account you play on, paste the code, confirm, and pick the server and character if the page asks for them.
Keep whatever message the page returns, whether it is a success notice or an error. It is the fastest thing to hand NCSOFT support if the reward never turns up.
Publicly available coupon codes differ from individual pre-registration serials. Because an individual serial belongs to your account, do not post it or give it to anyone.
Coupon code rules and limits
- Public coupons are typically once per account, not once per character.
- Each code has an official redemption window with a start and end time, usually closing before a scheduled maintenance.
- Codes can be region-locked, and a notice saying “all servers” does not automatically cover the global PC edition.
- Entry is case-sensitive and spaces break it.
- Some codes carry a minimum character level before the reward can be claimed.
The currently live public coupon, tied to the Chapter 1 showcase, runs until the scheduled maintenance on September 30, 2026 in Korea Standard Time and can be claimed once per account. Its reward set covers a Sanctum of Erosion reward ticket, Odyle Energy, Resurrection Spiritstone, Soul Codex and Daily Dungeon Instant Completion Tickets.
Fix a “Cannot register this coupon code” error
That prompt, or an “already used” or “ineligible” variant, means the entry was rejected rather than lost. Work through four checks in order before assuming the code is fake.

Where new AION 2 codes are announced
New coupons come out of official channels first: NCSOFT’s own game notices, the AION 2 Discord server, the Aion2_EN account on X, and the official Facebook page. Livestreams, showcases, seasonal events and milestone celebrations are the usual triggers, and the accompanying notice is where the exact start and end times are published.
Because windows are short and often tied to a maintenance date, it is worth entering a code the day you see it rather than saving it. The field costs nothing to use, and a rejected entry tells you immediately whether the coupon is still live.
