A Lucky Strike, shown in some menus as Lucky Catch, is a bonus that fires on its own while you are catching an Aniimo. You do not aim for it or unlock it. When one lands it can hand you items, push up the Prismatic Energy of the area you are standing in, and, in the best case, kick off a Prismana Flow that pulls a rare Prismana Aniimo into the world.

Quick answer: A Lucky Strike triggers at random during a catch. It drops items and Sparkling Crystals, raises the local Prismatic Energy, and has a chance to start a Prismana Flow. There is no way to force one.

What a Lucky Strike does when you catch

Everything a Lucky Strike pays out is tied to being in the field with an Aniipod in hand. It has three possible outcomes, and a single strike can cover more than one of them.

  • Item rewards, dropped automatically once the catch resolves.
  • A boost to the Prismatic Energy of the surrounding area, not just the creature you caught.
  • A chance to trigger a Prismana Flow directly, which attracts a Prismana Aniimo nearby.

There is also a stronger version, shown on screen as Super Lucky!. It jumps the area’s Prismatic Energy state straight to Abundant and hands over a large pile of Voxel Coins, Credits, and Sparkling Crystals in one go.

When Lucky Strikes trigger, and when they don’t

A Lucky Strike is possible only during a wild Aniimo capture. Egg hatching uses a separate rarity roll, so eggs cannot trigger one. Nurturing cannot trigger Lucky Strikes; it reaches Prismana through a different method explained below.

The rarity of the Aniipod you throw makes no difference to how often a strike lands. Neither does the Prismatic Energy state of the area. The chance is flat, so a pricey Aniipod or a fully charged region will not coax one out any faster.

Because volume is the only lever you control, a long catching session in one spot gives more chances for strikes to appear. Keep a stack of Anipods on hand from the outpost vendor so you are not forced to stop mid-run.

Sparkling Crystals and other rewards

Completing an ordinary Lucky Strike awards 20 Sparkling Crystals. At an outpost vendor, you can trade 1,000 Sparkling Crystals for a Sparkling Cube. This is the game’s rarest Aniipod, and hatching its egg guarantees a Perfect, Sparkling Aniimo.

Crystal payouts count against a weekly reward claim limit. Once you hit that cap, a notice appears during the catch and further strikes stop adding to that reward for the week.

Prismatic Energy and Prismana Flow odds

The energy outcome is the quiet half of a Lucky Strike. It raises Prismic energy across the area around you, not on the single creature you caught, which slowly moves that region toward a guaranteed Prismana. A Lucky Strike that lands the energy result adds 480 toward a regional guarantee of 10,500. Reach the Full state and a local Prismana is guaranteed to spawn, marked by a world announcement and a purple beam.

A Lucky Strike can also skip the slow build and trigger a Prismana Flow on the spot. The direct trigger has a 3% chance on the strike, so it is a bonus and not something to rely on. These odds are laid out on the official probability page.

The effects do not stack. Every catch attempt has the same underlying chance to initiate a Flow, whether or not the region has accumulated energy. Energy added by one strike therefore leaves the following roll unchanged. Nurturing offers the straighter route to Prismana: it raises an area’s energy, supports Prismana Aniimo captures, and changes the weather, with particular locations producing Prismana only under certain conditions. Its trigger chance likewise stays flat from one attempt to the next.

Regard Lucky Strikes as an extra reward for catches you already planned to make, rather than a farming method for Flows. To target Prismana, nurture the region associated with the form you want and rely on that process.

What a Prismana Aniimo is worth

A Nova-stage Aniimo may appear as a Prismana, an extremely uncommon form featuring a changed 3D model and different colours. This designation normally grants no stat, move, or ability advantages; all forms of one Aniimo use the same base stats. Prismana and shiny status are independent, meaning a single creature can be both Prismana and Sparkling when it spawns.

Forms differ mechanically through their typing. Prismana Grizzbolt has the dual Dark/Earth typing, whereas Prismana Pawney remains pure Dark like its regular form. Prismana Ignitis uses the same typing as its Highland form, and Prismana Blazen has a Dark-type skill found nowhere else. That exclusivity does not make the skill stronger, so pursue a Flow for its appearance and kit rather than improved stats.

How to confirm a Lucky Strike fired

You will see a Lucky Strike or Super Lucky! pop-up as the catch resolves, and Sparkling Crystals will appear in your rewards. A system banner then reports the area’s Prismatic Energy state climbing, for example to Abundant or Full. If the strike converts into a Prismana Flow, a world announcement fires and a purple beacon marks where the Prismana Aniimo has spawned, which you can then track on the map.
