Holiday Break (searched most as “holiday break dti”) is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. The game gives only the name, so we read it as a winter holiday: cozy knits, a warm hood or scarf, and Christmas red and green or snowy white. We built two looks in Freeplay Mode, a red knit sweater with a green plaid skirt and a snowy cream cardigan with a white plaid skirt, and took our own pictures of each step. Every piece and color here is free, so both work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.
Quick answer: For Holiday Break, recolor the tops wall’s knit jumper red, add the white hood from the mannequin beside it and wear the chained plaid mini skirt in dark green. For a snowy version, swap in the cream cardigan.
Holiday Break outfit ideas in Dress To Impress
Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and the spot we used on the Default palette (columns from the left, rows from the top). Set a piece’s colors while it is still a preview, then press “Put On”. Both looks share the hood and the skirt, so build the red one first and change two pieces for the snowy one.
We did not find boots, a beanie, mittens or a coat for these builds, so both looks are barefoot. Boots or a warm hat would suit the theme if you find free ones, but we have not built that.
Look 1: Red knit sweater, green plaid skirt and white hood
Our idea: a Christmas jumper look in red and green, with a white hood and scarf for the cold.

The finished look on the Freeplay Runway: the black curly bun under the white hood, the red cropped knit sweater and the green plaid pleated mini skirt with its silver chains, barefoot.

From behind, the white scarf end falls over the red sweater to the top of the green skirt.

Look 2: Snowy cream cardigan, white plaid skirt and the same hood
Our idea: a snowy-day version in cream and white. It keeps the hood and the skirt from Look 1 and swaps the sweater for a cardigan.

The finished look: an oversized cream cable-knit cardigan with navy stripes at the cuffs and hem, open over the black base top, the white plaid pleated mini and the hood, barefoot. We did not recolor the hood, but in these pictures it reads pale pink rather than white.

From behind, the cardigan’s navy-striped hem sits just above the white skirt, with the scarf end down the back.

Add to Google Preferences →Why these looks read as Holiday Break
A holiday break look is about cozy winter clothes and holiday colors: chunky knits, something warm on the head, and either Christmas red and green or snowy white and cream. Look 1 is the classic red and green; Look 2 is the softer snowy version. That is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.

How to recolor a piece
- Click the piece so it shows on you as a preview, and pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/3: Preview” and so on).
- Click a heart on the Palette for that part. Step to the next part with the right arrow and set it too.
- Press “Put On”. Colors set while previewing stay on the piece you wear.
- To change a piece you already wear, such as the skirt in Look 2, click its picture in the Wearing panel and set the part again. To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture.
Holiday Break colors on the Default palette
Rows count from the top of the palette, columns from the left. These are the spots we used; the hood and the cardigan keep their own colors.
| Color | Column | Row | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 1 (far left) | 5 | Look 1 sweater; skirt part 2 |
| Dark green | 7 | 7 | Look 1 skirt part 1 |
| Palest grey (reads white) | 1 (far left) | 8 (bottom row) | Look 2 skirt part 1 |
| Black | 9 (far right) | 8 (bottom row) | Hair, both looks |
Holiday Break pieces to look for

Poses for Holiday Break
Any free pose from the Poses menu works; we used Dazzle for the red look and Pearly for the snowy one. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.
Building it in Freeplay Mode first
Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to find the pieces and set the colors without a round running out. That matters here: the sweater and the hood are on the tops wall, the skirt is on the Halloween display and the cardigan is on the jackets wall, and the skirt needs its colors set part by part before “Put On”. Once a look works, you know where to go when Holiday Break comes up in a real round. How a theme round works
We have not had Holiday Break as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.
The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Holiday Break to roll.
What we have not checked
No round we joined rolled Holiday Break, so these looks have not walked a real round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We did not add shoes, boots, a beanie, mittens, a puffer or a fur coat; a white fur jacket and fur boots stand near the tops wall, but we did not try them. We did not open the hood’s second part or the skirt’s third part, and we could not see the skirt’s red second part under the sweater or the cardigan. Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.
FAQ
What should I wear for Holiday Break in Dress To Impress?
Go for cozy winter knits in holiday colors: a red knit sweater with a green plaid pleated skirt and a white hood, or a cream cable-knit cardigan with the same skirt in white.
Can I do Holiday Break without VIP?
Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece and color worked on it, with no lock or price on any of them.
Where is the knit sweater in Dress To Impress?
On the bottom shelf of the left unit of the Dressing Room tops wall. It looks pink on the shelf; recolor it on the Palette before you press “Put On”. We used red at column 1, row 5.
Is there a winter hood or scarf in Dress To Impress?
Yes: the white mannequin beside the left unit of the tops wall wears a hood that wraps the head and neck with a scarf end down the back. Click the hood on it; its panel opens at “1/2: Preview”.
Why does a black top show under the cardigan?
The cardigan is worn open, and the base body’s black top stays on under it. We did not try another top under the cardigan.
Are there boots or a Christmas hat for Holiday Break?
We did not add any. A white fur jacket and fur boots stand near the tops wall, but we did not reach them, and we did not search the hats wall for a winter hat for this theme.
