Anime Vanguards: How to Get the God Ascended (Anniversary) Vanguard Evolution

God Ascended (Anniversary) is the Vanguard evolution of DIO Over Heaven in Anime Vanguards. To reach it you first need the Mythic unit God (Standless), then four separate Saint parts, and finally a trip to the Evolve station. Each piece comes from a different place, so the work is mostly in collecting before the single evolve click.

Quick answer: Pull God (Standless) from the Anniversary 26 banner. Then gather the Saint’s Pelvis, next the Saint’s Heart, then the Rib of the Saint, and finally the Left Arm of the Saint. Put God (Standless) and all four pieces into the Evolve capsule to make God Ascended (Anniversary).

What you need before evolving

The evolution has two layers. You need the base unit, and you need one copy of each of the four Mythic Saint parts sitting in your inventory at the same time. Miss any single part and the Evolve button stays locked.

All four parts are capped at one each, and the game pulls them all from the 2nd Anniversary content. The spending currency throughout is Cake Slices ’26, earned from the Anniversary dungeon.

Summon God (Standless) on the Anniversary 26 banner

Head to the central Summon area and open the Anniversary 26 banner. This is the only banner that drops God (Standless), and it uses Cake Slices ’26 rather than Gems.

Go into summon settings before pulling and turn off Auto Sell for Mythic units. God (Standless) is Mythic, so leaving that filter enabled will get rid of the unit you need to keep.

Pull using the Once (150) or Many (7500) buttons. The banner carries pity, so a Mythic is guaranteed at 400 pulls if your luck runs dry.

Once the unit is yours, open the inventory and filter for God to confirm God (Standless) is listed before moving on. At level 60 the unit shows 9,692 DMG, a 7.6s SPA, 25.3 range, and the Monarch trait.

Collect the four Saint parts

Each part comes from a different source, so plan to run a few systems in parallel. The table lists where each one drops; the notes below cover the parts that need extra setup.

Saint’s Pelvis from St. Itchas

This is the only part you buy outright. Open Quick Actions, go to Areas, then Shops, then Exclusive Shop to reach the NPC St. Itchas. Inside his menu, open the 2nd Anniversary Shop and purchase the Saint’s Pelvis for 10,000 Cake Slices ’26.

Saint’s Heart from banner pulls

The Saint’s Heart drops at random from any summon on the Anniversary banner. Since you are already pulling there for God (Standless), keep summoning and it can appear alongside your normal results.

Rib of the Saint from The True Shadow Monarch

The Rib is handed to players who own The True Shadow Monarch, which unlocks after completing the Transcendent Song Jinwoo questline. While working through the event, claim your Event Pass tiers as they come up so you do not leave rewards sitting uncollected.

Left Arm of the Saint from Shadow Trials

The Left Arm drops from enemies you defeat inside the Shadow Trials. Run the Trials repeatedly until the part lands in your inventory.

Evolve God (Standless) into God Ascended (Anniversary)

Open the Quick Actions menu, select Areas, and travel to the Crafting / Evolve area. You can also walk directly to the Evolve station if you are already nearby.

Interact with the Evolve capsule and select God (Standless) from your unit list. The machine then displays the four Saint parts the evolution needs.

With all four parts in your inventory, click Evolve to transform the unit. God (Standless) becomes God Ascended (Anniversary), a Vanguard unit showing roughly 21.48K DMG, a 5.8s SPA, and 27.4 range at base.

The unit entry should switch from God (Standless) to God Ascended (Anniversary), with Vanguard shown as its rarity. If Evolve cannot be activated, check your inventory for the missing Saint part. God Ascended (Anniversary) is Anime Vanguards’ first limited unit to receive a complete Vanguard evolution. He joins the Holy group and works well with Holy damage buffers once on your team.
