Code redemption only unlocks after clearing the first 15 battle stages, so new accounts need to progress a little before the option becomes available.
A successful redemption shows the reward items appearing in your inventory or mail box right away. If nothing shows up, double-check for extra spaces or a mistyped character before trying again.
