Mitya, the upcoming five-star Electro catalyst from Snezhnaya’s Royal Energy Commission, has had two of his damage numbers trimmed in the latest Version 7.2 beta build. The adjustment pulls back part of an earlier buff, and it lands alongside a teaser pointing to the ancient Dendro support Noy and a clearer picture of the 7.2 update schedule.
Quick answer: In the V4 beta, Mitya’s enhanced charged attack and Stellar Conduct scaling each fall about 6.7% from V3, yet both still sit roughly 10% above his original kit values.
All of these numbers come from unreleased test builds. Beta values change frequently, and any figure here can be tuned again or removed before Version 7.2 goes live.
Mitya V4 multiplier changes
Two values moved in the V4 build, both measured at talent level 10. His enhanced charged attack, listed in files as Gradient Detonation, drops from 324% to 302.4%. The Stellar Conduct damage that scales off Elemental Mastery falls from 432% to 403.2%. Each cut is about 6.67% relative to the V3 figure.
The important context is where those numbers started. V3 had already raised Mitya above his first beta pass, so V4 takes back roughly half of that increase rather than gutting the kit. Compared with his original values, V4 still comes out around 10% higher overall.
| Multiplier | Original | V3 | V4 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enhanced charged attack | 275.4% | 324% | 302.4% |
| Stellar Conduct (EM scaling) | 367.2% | 432% | 403.2% |
The percentage drop applies to those individual multipliers, not to Mitya’s full rotation. His Elemental Skill, Elemental Burst, and reaction damage all contribute separately, so the real-world loss across a complete combo is smaller than 6.7%.
How Mitya’s kit works
Mitya can unleash an empowered charged strike while in his on-field “Overload” state. It costs no stamina, and using placed beacons activates Stellar Conduct damage. His Elemental Skill, Principle: Variable Detection, deals AoE Electro and summons a Detection Core; tapping it and holding it have different effects. His Burst, Analysis: Gradient Theory, also deals AoE Electro, then leaves three Gradient Beacons to fuel his reaction mechanic.
A mode swap and the longer skill duration added in V3 both carried over into V4. In the rumored premium lineup he sits as a co-carry alongside the Tsaritsa, Danica, and Odette, and the parts that define that role, the mode swap and extended skill timing, were left intact through this latest pass.
Why the numbers moved
The pattern follows HoYoverse’s usual late-beta cycle: test high values, watch the combat data, then settle the numbers. That timing produced visible frustration, with players asking what the earlier buffs were for.
One widely shared theory holds that Mitya was reined in so he would not outshine the Tsaritsa, expected in 7.3. Under that reading he is meant to read as strong but not overtuned, a bridge into the next patch rather than the ceiling of the Stellar Conduct archetype.
The Mendeleev birthday reference
The date chosen for Mitya’s in-game birthday, February 8, carries a reference: “Mitya” is a Russian diminutive of Dmitry, and Dmitri Mendeleev was born on that day in 1834. The chemist devised the periodic table. This connection suits Mitya’s lore as an energy specialist, with a kit built around beacons, elements, and reactions.

Valeriy, the four-star Electro sword support arriving in the same patch, has his birthday filled in as March 24. Both dates replaced an earlier January 1 placeholder in the build files.
The Noy teaser
Most of the reveal discussion began with the teaser, “We will meet Noy next week,” Noy is a Dendro support from Snezhnaya, with a history reaching back thousands of years to the Hyperborea era. Often likened to a “Dendro Sucrose,” he strengthens Dendro and Electro characters. His role is to assist Mitya directly, not the Tsaritsa.
The current roadmap places Noy in Version 7.5. “Next week” more likely refers to a first appearance than a playable release, with the plausible venues being the 7.2 Special Program, official drip marketing, or a cutscene inside the 7.2 story and events. For players weighing wishes, the pairing matters: because Noy is built around Mitya, some are debating whether to pull Mitya now or hold for the support.
Version 7.2 schedule, banners, and rewards
Version 7.2 launches on November 4. Ahead of it, the 7.2 Special Program livestream is expected around October 23 or 24, though no official date and time have been confirmed yet. That broadcast is set to carry three temporary redemption codes worth roughly 300 Primogems in total.
The expected banner order runs Mitya and Furina in Phase 1, followed by Zibai and Linnea in Phase 2. Estimated wish income across the patch breaks down as follows:
- Free-to-play: about 86 pulls
- With Blessing of the Welkin Moon: about 109 pulls
- With Welkin plus Battle Pass: about 118 pulls
Exploration expands into a named, multi-layered Snezhnaya zone with underground terrain, and three new Local Legends arrive with it: The Elder Blighttree, The Ancient Ironquill, and The Rowdy Beast Host, the last of which shifts forms and shields itself mid-fight.
For anyone tracking Mitya, the takeaway is steady rather than dramatic. V4 shaves the peak off his V3 buff, but the kit still ends up above where it began, and the bigger decision is whether the Stellar Conduct package, Mitya now and Noy later, is worth saving for.
