Enshrouded 1.0: How to Get the Table Saw

The Table Saw is a Carpenter workstation in Enshrouded, and you earn it by completing the quest “Table Saw For The Carpenter.” The quest sends you to a ruined town, points you toward a Scavenger camp that has the Circular Sawblades, and ends when the Carpenter builds the saw at your base.

Quick answer: Rescue the Carpenter and give him shelter, choose “Table Saw For The Carpenter,” and collect the Circular Sawblades at the Scavenger camp near Thornhold. At the Carpenter, the Table Saw takes 8 Wood Logs, 10 Nails and 1 Circular Sawblades.

Before you start the quest

The opening objective tells you exactly where the hunt begins: “The Carpenter needs a table saw to expand his abilities. A Table Saw requires Circular Sawblades to make, and he thinks those can be found in a town called Thornhold.” Thornhold sits in the Revelwood.

Get the Circular Sawblades from the Scavenger camp

Travel to Thornhold in the Revelwood and enter the town. Scavengers have already taken it, and the objective updates to read: “Thornhold has fallen to Scavengers. The town has been looted, and there are no Circular Sawblades to be found. Perhaps there are clues nearby.” There are no sawblades left in the town itself.

Search the roads around Thornhold for clues, then follow the road to the nearby Scavenger camp. The quest explains where the loot went: “The Scavengers are taking their loot away in wagons. The Circular Sawblades must have been taken to a nearby encampment. Following the road should lead one there.”

Search the camp and take the Circular Sawblades. Its item text reads: “Centerpiece of a Table Saw.” Picking it up advances the quest to the crafting stage.

Craft and place the Table Saw

With the Circular Sawblades in hand, the final objective reads: “The Circular Sawblades had been taken away by Scavengers to a nearby camp. Now, the Circular Sawblades must be crafted into a Table Saw. The Carpenter knows how.” Head back to base to finish the build.

Return to the Carpenter at your base.

Its own description calls it “An important workplace for a Carpenter which will enable many new crafting opportunities.” In practice, the station takes raw wood and turns it into two base materials you will use constantly.
