“Robert Gibson Needs Help” is the villager quest that sends you after Kaori Conway, Robert Gibson’s fiancée. She was last in East Lapis, a settlement in the Kindlewastes, and finding her means tracking down a note before you can locate her soul and summon her home.

What the quest asks you to do
The quest runs in two stages. The first points you at the Weaver’s Cottage, and the second redirects you to Kaori’s office once you have the note in hand.
The first objective, Investigate Kaori Conway’s Whereabouts, reads: “The villager Robert Gibson misses his fiancée, Kaori. She was last seen in East Lapis, awaiting a bundle of clothes and fabrics she planned to ship. Investigate the Weaver’s Cottage in East Lapis to search for clues!”
The second objective, Find Kaori Conway, reads: “You’ve discovered a note at the Weaver’s Cottage that mentioned that Kaori Conway has an office in East Lapis. Search the area marked on your map to investigate her office!”
Look through the cottage and examine its note. The message identifies an office belonging to Kaori Conway elsewhere in East Lapis, advancing the quest to stage two.
After you collect the soul, the “Soul Discovered! Kaori Conway” confirmation appears to verify the rescue. Go back to your base and use the Summoning Staff menu to place Kaori Conway in your settlement. If this mechanic is new to you, the process in awakening and summoning a survivor applies here as well.
