Added with Enshrouded 1.0, the Mothling Set is a cosmetic outfit with five parts: the Mothling Hood, Mothling Robe, Mothling Gloves, Mothling Pants and Mothling Boots. None can be crafted; instead, each item is stored in a separate silver chest in the Nomad Highlands, with all five chests clustered together.

Quick answer: Travel to Vukah Cave Pillar in the Nomad Highlands and open the five silver chests scattered around the Vukah Brawler’s arena to collect the full Mothling Set.

How to get the Mothling Set at Vukah Cave Pillar

Every piece is found in the same pocket of the Nomad Highlands, so one trip collects the whole set. The chests sit in the caves and on the ledges around Vukah Cave Pillar, right by the Vukah Brawler boss arena.

Travel to the Nomad Highlands and make your way to Vukah Cave Pillar. The location name appears on screen when you arrive.

Look through the caves and along the ledges surrounding the pillar to find silver chests. The five are grouped within a short walk of one another, beside the Vukah Brawler’s arena.
Claim the contents of every chest. For example, the Mothling Pants are classified as a Lower Body Cosmetic when you open their chest.

Once you have all five pieces, equip them in your cosmetic slots to change how your character looks. Having all five chests emptied means the set is complete.

What the Mothling Set is

The pieces are cosmetic: they change how your character looks and do not add armor or stats. Here is the item text for each piece.

  • Mothling Hood: “A hood with a striking pair of plumose antennae. It keeps you warm and safe while wandering at night, and perhaps the antennae will help you find what you desire — or what you really need.”
  • Mothling Robe: “This robe was fashioned to look like Emperor Moth wings. The double fur collar is especially soft. Below it lies a macrame shirt, expertly woven by nimble hands.”
  • Mothling Gloves: “Thick wooly gloves. They vaguely smell of bonfires and animal fur. Perhaps someone was wearing these while petting their furry companions by a fire?”
  • Mothling Pants: “Furry boots wrapped with cords. The strands can be unwound to fasten makeshift bandages in a pinch. Decorative pom poms hang dangle from the sides.”
  • Mothling Boots: “Comfortable brown boots that make you feel as if you’re being carried on a moth’s wings.”
