The Gear tab in AION 2’s Substance Morph menu works as an exchange counter, not a crafting table. You hand over a finished item, a stack of vouchers, or a pile of Kina, and get back something you can’t easily farm. That covers higher-grade versions of your Belt and Amulets, a Conquest piece in the class you actually play, and the growth stones that feed gear progression.
Quick answer: Gear recipes do three jobs. They raise a +10 Belt or Amulet one grade, they trade Gear Change Vouchers plus Kina for Conquest gear, and they turn vouchers or Unique gear into Sync, Amplify, and Transfer Stones.

Belt and Amulet grade upgrades
Three accessories climb grades through Substance Morph. They are the Noble Belt, the Revelation Amulet, and the Fierce Battle Amulet. Each step uses the same rule. The current version has to be enhanced to +10 before it can be morphed into the next grade, and the recipe consumes that enhanced piece.
| Result | Required item | Enhance level |
|---|---|---|
| Noble Belt (Rare) | +10 | |
| Noble Belt (Epic) | +10 | |
| Revelation Amulet (Rare) | +10 | |
| Revelation Amulet (Epic) | +10 | |
| Fierce Battle Amulet (Rare) | +10 | |
| Fierce Battle Amulet (Epic) | +10 |
The Rare Noble Belt is a quest reward that can’t be traded. It sits at item level 13 with HP 100 and a 10 percent boost to HP Potion recovery, and its enchant cap is 10. Enhancing it adds HP +250 at +5 and HP +500 at +10. Reaching that cap is what opens the Epic morph.

Each accessory takes its own bound Enhance Scroll, so the scroll source decides how fast you get to +10. The Noble Belt Enhance Scroll comes from Strongholds. Revelation Amulet Enhance Scrolls drop from monoliths, and both Verteron and Altgard have two monoliths each. Fierce Battle Amulet Enhance Scrolls are sold in the shop for 50,000 Abyss Points apiece.

You get only one Belt and one set of Amulets, so Substance Morph is the way these slots keep pace with the rest of your gear. Don’t salvage or discard them.

Add to Google Preferences →Conquest gear recipes with Gear Change Vouchers
Gear Change Vouchers come from Conquest pity chests, and every voucher is tied to one location. Spend them with Kina to pick a specific Conquest piece instead of waiting for the right drop. Armor, accessory, and guard recipes need only vouchers and Kina.
| Result | Vouchers | Kina |
|---|---|---|
| Draupnir x1 | 1,000,000 | |
| Vakron Sky Island x2 | 1,500,000 | |
| Ferocious Horn Den x3 | 2,000,000 | |
| Draupnir: Armor Selection Chest | Draupnir x1 | 500,000 |
| Vakron Sky Island: Armor Selection Chest | Vakron Sky Island x1 | 500,000 |
| Ferocious Horn Den: Armor Selection Chest | Ferocious Horn Den x1 | 500,000 |
| Krao Cave: Accessory Selection Chest | Krao Cave x1 | 500,000 |
| Urugugu Canyon: Accessory Selection Chest | Urugugu x1 | 500,000 |
| Fire Temple: Accessory Selection Chest | Fire Temple x1 | 500,000 |
| Ludra Gear Voucher x3 | 5,000,000 |
Weapon Selection Chests
Weapon chests cost more because they also eat a weapon. On top of vouchers and Kina, each recipe asks for one weapon from the same source. Any of the listed weapons works, which makes these recipes a way to swap an off-class drop for a chest that lets you choose.
| Result | Weapon line accepted | Vouchers | Kina |
|---|---|---|---|
| Krao Cave: Weapon Selection Chest | Krao Cave x1 | 1,000,000 | |
| Urugugu Canyon: Weapon Selection Chest | Urugugu x2 | 1,500,000 | |
| Fire Temple: Weapon Selection Chest | Enraged Kromede | Fire Temple x3 | 2,000,000 |
| Abyssal Forge: Weapon Selection Chest | Ludra’s | Ludra Gear Voucher x2 | 10,000,000 |
The accepted weapons for each chest are listed below.
- Rupture: Claymore, Sword, Knife, Longbow, Tome, Jewel, Warhammer, Rod
- Aulamus: Greatsword, Longsword, Dagger, Bow, Spellbook, Orb, Mace, Staff
- Enraged Kromede: Claymore, Sword, Silver Dagger, Longbow, Spellbook, Jewel, Warhammer, Rod
- Ludra’s: Blade of Extinction, Scale Sword, Claw, Fatal Bow, Grimoire, Abyssal Jade, Fatal Mace, Heavenbound Staff, Heart
Kina pays for all of these. In AION 2 it’s the currency for the Market and for Kina Chests, which also come out of Substance Morph.

Sync Stone, Amplify Stone, and Transfer Stone recipes
The rest of the Gear tab makes growth materials. Sync Stones have two recipes, so you can feed in either spare Unique gear or one leftover Gear Change Voucher from any of the six Conquest locations.
| Result | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Amplify Stone【Unique】 | Amplify Stone Fragment【Unique】 x4, Enhance Stone x2,500 |
| Sync Stone | Any Unique gear x1 |
| Sync Stone | One Gear Change Voucher (any location) |
| Transfer Stone 【Unique】 | Any Unique gear x1 |
The voucher route accepts Krao Cave, Draupnir, Urugugu, Vakron Sky Island, Fire Temple, or Ferocious Horn Den vouchers. That gives surplus vouchers a use once you already own the Conquest pieces you want. Unique gear you’ve outgrown splits between two outputs, Sync Stones or Transfer Stones, so decide which one you need before you morph it.
Amplify Stones cost the most to build. The 2,500 Enhance Stones are the expensive part, and Enhance Stones are also the material you spend on everyday gear enhancement.
