Fake an Egg (Roblox): How to Get More Cash and Money

Hatched pets in your pen earn cash every second, and food, mutations and your equipped pets decide how much.

Hatched pets in your pen earn cash every second, and food, mutations and your equipped pets decide how much.

In Fake an Egg, cash comes from your pets. Every pet that has hatched and sits inside your fenced pen pays out money every second. Getting richer means turning cash into better eggs, hatching them quickly, and raising the rate your pets earn.

Quick answer: Buy an egg in the central yard and drop it in an empty nest in your pen. Fill the feeder with free Carrots for x1.1 Pet Cash, then use EQUIP BEST in the Pets menu.

How cash is earned in Fake an Egg

Income is passive. Each hatched pet in your pen has its own per-second rate, and the game adds them together. A starter Bunny earns $4/s and a Cat earns $6/s. A Dog brings in $49/s, and a Gold Llama reaches $108/s. Together those four pets produce a total of $170/s.

Your pets keep earning while you are away. The pen shows an offline estimate, for example “Your pets earn $239.8K/day offline.” Any upgrade to your pets also raises what you collect between sessions.

Only equipped pets count toward income. Active slots are limited, shown as a count like “Slots 4/7 Active,” so the pets you choose to equip matter as much as how many you own.

Fake an Egg egg prices, rarities and timers

Eggs spawn in the central public yard. Each one has a floating label with its name, rarity, price and a timer. Rarities run from Common through Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Exotic and Divine, up to Secret. These are examples of eggs and their listed prices.

EggRarityPrice
Chicken EggCommon$70
Dog EggCommon$96
Llama EggUncommon$1.2K
Parrot EggUncommon$3.7K
Hyena EggRare$6.6K
Bull EggRare$19.0K
Gold Bear EggEpic$110.0K
Gold Gargoyle EggEpic$190.0K

A countdown board in the yard tracks when the higher tiers arrive, with separate timers for SECRET, EXOTIC and DIVINE eggs. A server-wide message such as “A Divine Egg spawned!” appears when one of them drops. Check the board before spending, so you still have cash on hand when a rarer egg appears.

Buy and hatch eggs to add income

Walk into the central yard and stand next to an egg you can afford. Use the Buy prompt to pay for it with the cash you have on hand. A Llama Egg, for example, costs $1.2K.
Carry the egg back to your own pen. Stand over an empty nest circle and press DROP to place it.

Wait for the incubation countdown to finish. If a Skip Timer prompt is offered, you can use it to hatch the egg right away.
Let the egg hatch. The new pet appears in your pen and starts adding its per-second rate to your total.

Keep the cycle going. Every new pet raises your income, which lets you afford pricier eggs sooner, such as moving from a $1.2K Llama Egg to a $3.7K Parrot Egg.

Boost Pet Cash with the feeder

Every pen has a feeder trough with the prompt “Add food to boost income.” Filling it raises the Pet Cash multiplier that applies to your pets’ earnings. The base rate is x1 PET CASH, and adding Carrots takes it to x1.1.

Food comes from the Pet Food stall. Its stock refreshes on a short timer, shown as “Pet Food Refreshes In” followed by a countdown.

Carrots cost nothing, so claim them every time stock refreshes. The stall shows how many are left, for example “Stock: x2.”

Claimed Carrots go into your hotbar. Hold one, walk up to the trough in your pen, and use the Add Food prompt.

You know the feeder worked when the pen’s multiplier label changes from x1 PET CASH to x1.1 PET CASH.

Night hatch speed and Gold mutations

Night arrives from time to time and shows a “NIGHT x3 Hatch Speed” banner. During that window, incubation timers run three times faster. Eggs placed in nests at night start earning much sooner, so it is a good time to fill every open nest.

Eggs can also mutate at random while they incubate. A message like “Your Llama egg mutated to Gold!” confirms it. Mutated pets earn more than the normal version. A Gold Llama hatches at $108/s, more than double the $49/s Dog in the same pen.

Avoid fake eggs with Scanners

Not every egg in the yard is real. Scanners show whether an egg is genuine before you spend money on it. The Scanner stall restocks every five minutes.

Each tier also has limited stock. The Common Scanner shows x4, while the Uncommon and Rare Scanners show x2.

Disguise as an egg for a payout

The Disguise menu, labeled “Select Disguise,” lets you turn into an egg and blend in with the real ones in the yard. Disguises are unlocked with cash. Uncommon disguises list a reward for being bought. The Giraffe Egg disguise reads “Earn $5.0K when BOUGHT.” You can undisguise whenever you want to return to normal.

Equip your highest-earning pets

Open the Pets menu from the side of the screen. It lists each equipped pet with its rate and an UNEQUIP button, along with your slot count and total income. Press EQUIP BEST to fill your active slots with your top earners automatically. Do this after every new hatch, especially after a Gold mutation, so your best pets are always the ones counting toward income.

To confirm it worked, look at the Total line at the top of the Pets menu. In the example above, it reads $170/s. It should go up each time you hatch, mutate, or equip a stronger pet. The pen’s Pet Cash multiplier and the offline earnings estimate will also reflect the change.
