In Sell Fries! Anomaly, classes come only from a random spin at the Classes tent in the lobby. You can’t buy a specific class or pick one. Better classes come from more spins, and each spin either costs Gems or comes free after you watch an ad. The class you equip changes your money multiplier, your starting cash and items, and in the higher tiers it adds an active ability.

Quick answer: Press E at the CLASSES tent, then roll with “SPIN 25” (25 Gems) or “+1 SPIN Watch an ad” (free). Potato King (0.2%) and Fry Tycoon (1%) are the best results.

Sell Fries! Anomaly class odds and rarities

The roster has eight classes, counting the event-only Grim Fryer. The odds below are the current roll chances shown in the Classes menu. Together they add up to 100%.

ClassRarityRoll chance
DishwasherCOMMON39.3%
PeelerUNCOMMON28%
RunnerRARE16%
Fry CookEPIC10%
Head ChefLegendary4.5%
Fry TycoonMYTHIC1%
Grim FryerLIMITED1%
Potato KingDIVINE0.2%

About two out of three spins land on Dishwasher or Peeler. On average, one spin in 100 gives Fry Tycoon, and one in 500 gives Potato King. Grim Fryer appears with the HALLOWEEN EVENT banner in the lobby, and its LIMITED tag means it isn’t a permanent part of the pool.

Older numbers you may see elsewhere, such as Fry Tycoon at 1.3% or Dishwasher at 40%, come from before Grim Fryer was added. Treat the in-game menu as the current figure.

How to spin for a class in the lobby

Spins happen in the lobby, before you join a match. Launch the game from its Roblox page and stay in the hub area.

Walk to the canopy tent with the CLASSES sign in the middle of the lobby. The yellow chevrons on the ground point toward the lobby stations.

Press E when the “[E] Classes” prompt appears over the tent. The Classes menu opens. It shows your equipped class, the full roster with each class’s stats, and your class storage slots.

Click “SPIN 25” to spend 25 Gems on a roll. Your Gem count sits on the left side of the screen next to the purple diamond icon.
Click “+1 SPIN Watch an ad” instead if you want a roll that costs no Gems. After the ad, a “FREE SPIN” button appears. Use it to roll the same way.

When the wheel stops, click “Equip” to make the result your active class. You can also keep it in a storage slot. “SKIP” passes on the result, and “Leave” closes the menu.

You can confirm it worked in the Classes menu. The class card you rolled shows as your equipped class, and your next match starts with that class’s cash and items. You can watch ads for as many free spins as you like, but each ad can take a while to load.

How to earn Gems for class spins

Gems come from runs and from achievements. Finishing a run awards Gems on the end screen, but the faster source is the Achievements menu. Open it with the Achievements button on the right side of the lobby screen. Each achievement you complete is one claim.

Peek Inside and Level Up! are the cheapest Gems in the list. The Candy Chest has a free open on a timer, and the cheapest lobby upgrade costs 25 Gems. Together those two give you 30 Gems, which is more than one spin. The 125-Gem milestones take much longer, but each one pays for five spins.

The same Gems also buy permanent lobby upgrades, so every upgrade you buy means fewer class spins.

UpgradeFirst tierCost
Walk Speed+0 → +125 Gems
Money Multix1.0 → x1.240 Gems
Gem Bonusx1 → x1.150 Gems
Lives1 → 2250 Gems

Gem Bonus is the only upgrade that speeds up future spins, because it raises the Gems you earn from every run. Fry Tycoon, Grim Fryer, Head Chef and Potato King also carry their own gem boosts, so a good roll pays back into more rolls.

Best classes in Sell Fries! Anomaly

Class strength follows rarity closely. The rarer classes add bigger money and gem multipliers, more starting gear, and active abilities with cooldowns.

Top picks: Potato King, Fry Tycoon and Grim Fryer

ClassBoostsStarting kitAbility cooldown
Potato King+100% money, +50% gems, +3 speed$1,000, Potato, Vacuum, Money Potion, Cross360s
Fry Tycoon+60% money, +35% gems, +2 speed$500, Vacuum, Cola, Cross300s
Grim Fryer+60% money, +35% gems, +2 speed$500, Vacuum, Cola, Cross150s

Potato King is the best class in the game and also the rarest. Its Royal Decree ability revives the whole team and gives speed and triple money for 120 seconds. Its Royal Pardon passive gives your teammates +50% money, but not you. It is the strongest pick for group runs, because it pays your teammates and can bring them back.

Fry Tycoon is the best class you can realistically land. Golden Touch triples your earnings for 30 seconds. Compound Interest adds 20% of your current cash every morning, so saving money between shop trips pays off.

Grim Fryer matches Fry Tycoon’s boosts and starting kit. Instead of money abilities, it focuses on survival. Its Undying ability lets you rise again once every night, on a much shorter cooldown. It is only available while the event is running, so it is worth spinning for while it is in the pool.

Mid-tier: Head Chef and Fry Cook

ClassBoostsStarting kit
Head Chef+40% money, +20% gems, +2 speed$250, Vacuum, Cola
Fry Cook+15% money, +3 speed$100, Cola

Head Chef is built around sales. Its Order Up! passive makes all sales pay double for 20 seconds after every 5th sale, and its Dinner Rush ability triples all team sales for 30 seconds. It also starts you with a Vacuum, which speeds up potato collection from the first minute.

Fry Cook uses Double Dip, which gives a 50% chance to fry double and makes you immune to hot oil. Its ability has a 90-second cooldown. It is a solid upgrade over the common classes, but you should keep rolling once you can afford it.

Low-tier: Runner, Peeler and Dishwasher

ClassPassiveBoosts and start
RunnerBait & Dash+15% money, +3 speed, $100, Cola
PeelerPerfect Peel+10% money, $100
DishwasherSoapy Hands+5% money, $50

Runner draws monsters to you, but they move 25% slower. That makes it a decoy class for team runs. Peeler gives double potatoes on every 2nd peel, which matters most before you have an Auto Peeler. Dishwasher is the class you start with. It gives a 50% chance that monsters can’t grab you and very little else. None of these three has an active ability, so roll again as soon as you have the Gems.

For the fastest path to a strong class, use free ad spins whenever you have time to watch them. Save your 25-Gem spins for after you’ve claimed the easy 15-Gem achievements. Equip anything at Epic rarity or above while you keep rolling for Fry Tycoon, Grim Fryer or Potato King.
