Doubloons are the lobby currency in Save the Krusty Krab. You spend them to unlock new classes, such as Jim the Cook, and character skins. They are separate from the restaurant cash ($) you earn during a shift. That cash only pays for Night Shop and restaurant upgrades and disappears from the picture once a run ends. If you want more characters, you need to understand where Doubloons come from.
Quick answer: Open the Tasks menu in the lobby, finish the listed objectives during shifts, then press Claim to collect Doubloons. You can also buy them with Robux through the BUY DOUBLOONS store.
Free Doubloon sources in Save the Krusty Krab
You don’t have to spend Robux to earn Doubloons. Most free Doubloons come from playing shifts and checking off objectives. A smaller amount can turn up between days.
| Source | How you earn it | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| Tasks menu | Complete listed objectives | 1 to 4 per task |
| Crew Roles tasks | Unlock a class, then claim | 4 for unlocking Jim |
| ACHIEVEMENTS event | Clear 100+ challenges | Extra and larger payouts |
| Night Shop | Buy with restaurant cash ($) | Small packs, around 7 |
The ACHIEVEMENTS event ran in mid-October 2026. It added more than 100 challenges with bigger Doubloon rewards, which makes it the fastest free route to new characters and skins while it’s live. Night Shop Doubloon packs don’t show up in every night’s list. When one does appear, it’s worth buying with spare cash, because its cost comes out of the run and not out of your account.
Save the Krusty Krab has no verified active codes. Codes from SpongeBob Tower Defense or Survive Bikini Bottom, which come from the same studio, do not work here.

Add to Google Preferences →Tasks menu categories and Doubloon rewards
The Tasks button sits in the lobby next to Classes and Invite. It stays open while you wait in a match queue, so you can check what’s left before a shift starts. Tasks are sorted into five categories, and each one shows a completion percentage.
- The Basics: cleaning and upkeep jobs
- Work Streak
- Rising Stars
- Crew Roles: tied to unlocking classes
- Expert Service: villain and emergency jobs

Individual payouts are small, but they add up. The Basics tasks show a three-star progress marker, so each objective can be repeated across several tiers.
| Task | Doubloons |
|---|---|
| Take Out the Trash | 1 |
| Wipe Down a Table | 1 |
| Clean a Workstation | 1 |
| Mop a Spill | 1 |
| Defeat the Dirty Bubble | 1 |
| Defeat Man Ray | 1 |
| Use the Orb of Confusion on a Villain | 3 |
| Put Out a Fire | 4 |
The villain tasks need the right tool. You clear the Dirty Bubble with a mop or water gun. Man Ray goes down to the Orb of Confusion, which comes from a class bonus or the Night Shop. Fires happen when a patty sits on the grill too long or Coral Bits are left in the fryer, so Put Out a Fire tends to complete on its own during a busy shift.
Run a shift to complete Doubloon tasks
Almost every task counts during normal play, so the free Doubloon method is simply working the restaurant. The First Day tutorial walks you through the full loop on Day 1.

Take out the trash before nightfall. If the bin remains full overnight, the Hash-Slinging Slasher may appear.
Claiming Doubloons after a task is done
Finishing a task doesn’t add Doubloons to your balance by itself. Back in the lobby, open Tasks, find the completed entry, and press Claim. The reward then appears in your Doubloon total, and the category percentage goes up.
Crew Roles tasks reward progress you’ve already paid for. Unlocking Jim the Cook for 150 Doubloons completes the Unlock Jim task, and claiming it returns 4 Doubloons. Check Crew Roles every time you buy a new class so you don’t leave those rewards unclaimed.
Buying Doubloons with Robux
The paid route is the BUY DOUBLOONS menu in the lobby. Only the largest tier includes bonus Doubloons.
| Doubloons | Robux |
|---|---|
| 50 | 99 |
| 200 | 299 |
| 500 | 749 |
| 1,000 + 500 bonus | 1,499 |

The 1,499 Robux pack works out to 1,500 Doubloons, which is the best rate per Robux. A time-limited Starter Pack also appears under the lobby’s Exclusive Offer banner with a countdown. The game sells developer products for Robux, such as Revive and instant upgrades, but it has no gamepasses.
How fast you need Doubloons depends on what you’re saving for. Jim takes about a day or two of steady Task clearing. SpongeBob costs 2,500 Doubloons, which is where the ACHIEVEMENTS payouts and claimed Crew Roles rewards make a real difference for players who don’t want to spend Robux.
