Add to Google Preferences →Jewel’s Knot item card and effect
The item card lists Jewel’s Knot as type “Defensive” and gives its effect as “Increases HP by 15%.” The description reads:
“The colored threads were prepared by Second Sister Myst, the metal loops were crafted by Eldest Sister Forge, and the knots were Jewel’s proudest handiwork. One of a kind though it was, Forge found it cumbersome, Myst thought it too fussy, and Jewel had no desire to keep it for herself. After giving it some thought, they decided to give it to Master Soul.”

How to polish Jewel’s Knot
Jewel polishes it at her hut in the Village of Lu: talk to her, choose “Polish accessories”, open the Accessories tab and hold Space on Jewel’s Knot. Polishing it once changes its effect to “Increases HP by 25%.” That upgrade costs 9,152 Remnant Dust plus one Tainted Crystal Shard.

Quick Hand Zhang sells the Tainted Crystal Shard for 7,440 Remnant Dust. You can also pick one up in the world, and the Tainted Crystal Shard locations show where. Polishing only raises the HP number. The accessory still does the same thing. One polish is all it takes: after it, the menu shows “MAX POLISH REACHED”.

What Jewel’s Knot is good for
Jewel’s Knot gives a flat boost to your maximum HP: 15% as found, or 25% after polishing. That makes it an easy survival pick for any build. You have three accessory slots open from the start, and the full Phantom Blade Zero accessories list shows every accessory with its effect and location.
If you want to stay alive longer, there are also other ways to take less damage and ways to heal.
