Tiger Cannon arts
Tiger Cannon has seven arts: Firearm is its base art, Full Blast is a Tempering art, and Stone-Clearing Shot is a Field ability. Its four remaining arts unlock as you increase the Phantom Edge’s weapon level through the forge and weapon upgrade system.
| Art | Unlocks | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Firearm | Base art | “Can ignite explosive objects. Can also shatter Frozen enemies (except elite enemies).” |
| Full Blast | Tempering art | “Press [Block]+[Phantom Edges] to launch Tiger Cannon itself forward, dealing massive damage. Consumes 2 Remnant Spark” |
| Stone-Clearing Shot | Field ability | “Once obtained, Tiger Cannon can shatter weakened stone walls, even when not equipped.” |
| Tiger Step | Weapon level 5 | “After dodging with [Dodge], press [Phantom Edges] to quickly move while firing.” |
| Spreading Blaze | Weapon level 10 | “Lv. 1: Explosions leave flames across the ground, damaging and Igniting enemies. Lv. 2: Slightly increases the damage dealt by flames left by explosions. Lv. 3: Moderately increases the damage dealt by flames left by explosions.” |
| Double Roar | Weapon level 15 | “Immediately after firing, press [Phantom Edges] again to rapidly charge and fire a second shot. Consumes 1 Remnant Spark” |
| Tooth for Tooth | Weapon level 25 | “At close range, when an enemy launches a Red-flash Attack or Blue-flash Attack, press [Phantom Edges] with precise timing to counter the incoming attack with Tiger Cannon. Consumes 1 Remnant Spark” |
Full Blast, Double Roar, and Tooth for Tooth all spend Remnant Spark, so it helps to know how to restore Remnant Spark.
What Tiger Cannon is good for
Out in the world, it opens paths. Stone-Clearing Shot lets Tiger Cannon shatter weakened stone walls, and it works even when the cannon isn’t equipped. Firearm also ignites explosive objects and shatters Frozen enemies, though not elite ones. That makes it a natural partner for a Frost weapon like Whiteshadow.
For damage, Full Blast launches the cannon itself forward for massive damage at a cost of 2 Remnant Spark. At weapon level 15, Double Roar lets you fire a second shot right after the first. If you’re still choosing your main weapon, check the roundup of the best weapons to use early on.
