Quick answer: Baishan Writ is found in Mountain of Imprisonment, near The Lady’s Path bell, as a reward or pickup in the world. It increases Sha-Chi depletion against enemies by 5%.
Where to find Baishan Writ
Rest at The Lady’s Path bell before you go looking. Bells work as fast travel and respawn points, so if you die, you come back close to the item. The Mountain of Imprisonment interactive map shows the item’s pin. Click the pin to see its details.
Baishan Writ item card
Baishan Writ is an accessory of the “Offensive” type. Its effect line reads “Increases Sha-Chi depletion against enemies by 5%.”
The card carries this description:
“From Baishan comes a spirit hound, sword in its jaws, sworn to pierce deception and slay evil. This writ was carried by a Baishan guard while secretly tracking Huangxing. To those who recognize it, the bearer is to be treated like the Sect Master herself.”
How to polish Baishan Writ
Use Jewel to polish. This changes only the accessory’s values, except when its polish line specifies a different effect.
| Polish | Effect | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Polish 1 | “Increases Sha-Chi depletion against enemies by 10%.” | 35,200 Remnant Dust + Tainted Crystal Shard |
Quick Hand Zhang sells the Tainted Crystal Shard for 7,440 Remnant Dust. You can also find a Tainted Crystal Shard in the world.
What Baishan Writ is good for
Equipping Baishan Writ lets each attack drain 5% additional enemy Sha-Chi; polishing raises that bonus to 10%. The gain is modest and applies to every weapon. For combat meter details, see Sha-Chi combos; Guard Break explains another related combat mechanic.
You begin with access to three accessory slots, letting Baishan Writ share your loadout with two more accessories. Every accessory’s effect and location appears in the complete accessories list.
