The Zero Point Sprite is the rarest Sprite in Fortnite Runners, the Chapter 7 Season 3 reality built around the Shattered Coast and the Zero Point at the center of the Island. It sits at the Mythic tier, it does not spawn in a fixed location, and it only counts once you successfully extract it. Everything below is about finding that one Sprite and banking it for good.
Quick answer: Open as many Sprite Chests as you can, since the Zero Point Sprite is a Mythic drop with roughly a 0.03% chance of appearing. Prioritize Vaults for guaranteed Sprite Chests, then carry it to an Extraction Site (or use a Portable Extractor) and complete the extraction timer to lock it into your Collection.
What the Zero Point Sprite does
When equipped, the Zero Point Sprite spawns a Shield Bubble Jr. every time you use a healing item on yourself. Whether you crack a Shield Potion, a Med Kit, or a Chug Jug, the dome appears automatically while you consume the item and blocks incoming fire. That gives you a safe window to top off health or shields without getting punished mid-heal, which matters most in Zero Build.
There is also a collection payoff. Adding a Zero Point Sprite to your Collection for the first time unlocks it as a Pilot for the Guardian Battle Pass skin.

There is no dedicated spawn point for it. The Zero Point Sprite drops from Sprite Chests just like every other Sprite, and the only thing separating it from the rest is its extremely low drop rate of about 0.03%. That means raw chest volume is your best friend, so plan routes that let you crack the most chests per match.
A few methods raise your odds or shortcut the grind:
| Method | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Hit the Vaults | Every Vault gives guaranteed Sprite Chests, and Epic Sprite Vaults hand out three. More guaranteed chests means more rolls at the Mythic. |
| Play Mastery Monday | Every Monday, 9 AM ET through 9 AM ET the next day, all Legendary and Mythic Sprites have boosted drop rates, including the Zero Point Sprite. |
| Use a Lucky Locator | This later-season Gizmo tracks down a buried Chest guaranteed to hold a Sprite you have not collected yet. |
| Trade with a friend | A player who already owns it can bring it into a match and drop it for you to extract. They keep theirs, since they can resummon it with Sprite Dust. |
Tip: If you do not have a trading partner, Epic Senior Director Tofu Chris has run Zero Point giveaways on X, and community trading servers exist for pairing up. Dropping a Sprite for someone else carries no risk to the owner, because an extracted Sprite can always be summoned again with Sprite Dust.

How to extract and keep the Zero Point Sprite
Finding the Sprite is only half the job. If you get eliminated before banking it, the Zero Point Sprite is left on the battlefield for the next player to grab. Because this one is so rare, extracting it quickly and safely is the whole game.

How to confirm it worked, and what happens if you lose it
You know the extraction succeeded when the Sprite is added to your Collection menu after the timer ends. From that point on it is yours to reuse, even though it starts at base level. The most common reason an extraction fails is simple. You stepped out of the zone or were eliminated before the timer ran out, which is why bringing a Portable Extractor or squad support matters so much here.
If you already extracted the Zero Point Sprite and lose it during a match, you can summon it back for 7,500 Sprite Dust, though doing so resets its level. If you never managed to extract one and you lose it on the ground, there is no shortcut. You will have to find another in a Sprite Chest and run the extraction again.
