Wolfchaser’s Art is an Epic Inner Way tied to the Heavenquaker Spear in Where Winds Meet, and it lives at the bottom of the Heavenquaker Spear – Sanctum. The fastest way to claim it is to skip the fighting where possible and head straight for the golden chest behind the Skill Theft area, with the right key and skill in hand.
Quick answer: Travel to Wildmane Ranch in Sundara Land, use a Dragon Key on the mechanism east of the ranch to open the cave, sneak through undetected to the bottom floor of the second section, and open the golden chest on the side opposite the Heavenquaker Spear Skill Theft prompt.

What you need before you go
Two things make this run smooth. Without them, you either cannot open the cave or you get stuck on the guard-heavy stretch near the chest.
| Requirement | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Dragon Key | Opens the hidden cave entrance at Wildmane Ranch. Spending one has no downside, since Qinghe provides enough Dragon Keys to open every hidden Skill Theft area. |
| Touch of Death Mystic Skill | Lets you clear the large group of guards stationed near the chest on the bottom floor. |

Note: You can confirm the pickup when Wolfchaser’s Art appears in your Inner Way collection after looting the chest. If nothing was added, make sure you opened the golden chest opposite the Skill Theft prompt rather than another container in the Sanctum.
Wolfchaser’s Art effects and path
Wolfchaser’s Art is an Epic Internal Art on the Bellstrike – Umbra path, tagged as Martial Arts and Buff. It pairs only with the Heavenquaker Spear and exists to make the Sober Sorrow buff easier to keep up.
The base effect reduces the combo number required to gain the Heavenquaker Spear’s Sober Sorrow buff from 5/10 down to 4/8. When Sober Sorrow hits a unit carrying a Bleed effect from you, there is a 60%/70%/80%/90%/100% chance to add 1 to the combo count based on the number of Bleed stacks. For Bleed-focused spear builds, that turns into a steady source of extra combo, smoothing out the rotation.
Breakthrough tier bonuses
Raising the tier of Wolfchaser’s Art adds new layers on top of the base effect, mixing stat gains with stronger Sober Sorrow behavior.
| Tier | Bonus |
|---|---|
| 1 | Increases the duration of the Sober Sorrow combo buff to 15 seconds. |
| 2 | Increases Affinity Rate based on Solo Mode Level. |
| 3 | Increases Sober Sorrow damage by 10%. While casting it, you gain 60% Damage Reduction and high interruption resistance. |
| 4 | At a Sober Sorrow combo count of 10, gain Potent Flowing River. Damage rises by 25%, and the Special Skill Sweep All restores HP equal to 20% of damage dealt. |
| 5 | Increases Affinity DMG Bonus by 5.2%. |
| 6 | When Sober Sorrow hits a Soul-Shaken target, it applies another Soul-Shaken stack. Hitting the same target 5 times within 3 seconds applies Wine Gu for 15 seconds, raising all damage that target takes from you by 5%. |

How to upgrade the tiers
Before you can push tiers, you must reach Solo Mode Level 4, also called Level 4 Roaming. After that, upgrading requires Wolfchaser’s Art: Notes, which come from several sources, most notably the Tips Exchange. Each tier costs more Notes than the last, so you can leave upgrades until your Bleed spear build is closer to finished and still get full value from the support bonuses.
