How to Unlock the Neopets Aisha Sidekick and Free Rewards in Fortnite

The Aisha Sidekick costs 1,500 V-Bucks and unlocks a Neopets questline, but the Shop window closes July 9.

Neopets has finally made the jump from Neopia to the Fortnite Island, and Aisha is the one leading the charge. The antenna-eared pet that a lot of you raised during early-2000s computer class is now a Sidekick you can drop into your locker, and buying it kicks off a short Neopets questline with rewards you can’t grab any other way. The catch is the timer. This one leaves the Shop soon, so grinding starts the moment you own it.

Quick answer: Buy the Neopets Aisha Sidekick from the Fortnite Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks before July 9, 2026 at 8 PM ET, then keep it equipped while you play to earn 19,500 XP and unlock the Nosh-o-Matic emote and the rest of the Aisha Rewards.

Aisha Sidekick price and Shop window

The Aisha Sidekick is a limited-time Shop item, not a permanent locker unlock, so the buying window is fixed. It went live on July 2 and rotates out a week later. Once it leaves, licensed crossover cosmetics in Fortnite don’t always come back, so treat this as your only guaranteed shot.

This is the first Neopets character to land in Fortnite as a Sidekick, and the brand has hinted it won’t be the last. For now, though, Aisha is the only one on offer.

What comes with the Aisha Sidekick

Buying the Sidekick immediately gives you two Styles you can swap between, plus the start of a reward track. Like every Fortnite Sidekick, Aisha only appears for you and your squad during matches and never points out enemy players, so it’s purely cosmetic company on the island.

Style or itemDescription
Aisha (default)The classic blue pet with feline features and two antenna-like ears.
Alien AishaThe green, spacesuit-wearing version with four antennas.
Nosh-o-Matic emoteAn Alien Aisha Vending Machine that serves one of three treats to Aisha.

The Nosh-o-Matic is the fun one. When you trigger it, the vending machine randomly hands Aisha a Carrot and Pea Omelette, a Fish Negg, or a Neocola Slushie, which is an oddly faithful pull from the Neopets snack menu.

How to unlock the free Aisha Rewards

The emote and the extra goodies aren’t handed to you at checkout. They sit behind a Sidekick Points track that you fill by playing with Aisha equipped. In total you need to grind 19,500 XP with the Sidekick active to clear the whole questline, which also includes an alternate Aisha style, an emoticon, and a reaction.

Open the Locker after the purchase and equip the Aisha Sidekick. Nothing counts toward the rewards until she’s actively selected.
Jump into matches with Aisha equipped and rack up XP. Sidekick Points build automatically as you play, so you don’t need to do anything special beyond keeping her on.

Hit each point threshold to unlock the rewards one by one, starting with the Nosh-o-Matic emote and working through the alternate style, emoticon, and reaction.

You’ll know a reward has landed when it becomes selectable in your Locker. The emote, for example, is greyed out until you cross its point threshold, then it’s ready to equip. There’s no separate claim button to press.

Best modes to grind Sidekick Points fast

Stick to modes where your Sidekick is always deployed next to you, since that’s what keeps the points ticking. Zero Build and standard Battle Royale are the reliable picks, because Aisha travels with you the whole match. With a hard deadline of July 9 at 8 PM ET, treat every session between now and then as reward progress, and check the Locker after each run to see which rewards have flipped from locked to available.

If you want Aisha but haven’t bought her yet, do that first, before the emote and the rest of the track will register any progress. The Sidekick itself stays in your locker permanently once purchased, so the only thing the July 9 cutoff actually removes is the ability to buy it. The reward grind, though, is something you’ll want to knock out while the questline is fresh.
