Update 9 dropped a holiday event into Build a Ring Farm, and it runs for a limited window this week. A new NPC named Uncle Sam hands out a chain of quests that reward two holiday-exclusive items you cannot earn any other way, plus there’s a rare pet on sale for the same short period. Once the event closes, both the quest rewards and the pet are gone.
Quick answer: Walk up to Uncle Sam beside the new Pet Mutation Machine, start his quest chain, and complete each task in order to claim Firecracker Marigold Seeds and Liberty Sprays before the event ends.
Where to find Uncle Sam
Uncle Sam is the event NPC added in Update 9. He stands right next to the new Pet Mutation Machine, which arrived in the same update. Approach him and interact to open his quest chain. He has five quests queued up, and you complete them in sequence.

Here is the full task list and what each quest pays out. The Firecracker Marigold Seed is a holiday-only crop, and the Liberty Spray applies a new mutation to your plants. Neither is available outside this event.
| Quest | Task | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Quest 1 | Harvest 2,500 crops | Firecracker Marigold Seed x1 |
| Quest 2 | Apply 10 sprays | Liberty Spray x1 |
| Quest 3 | Apply 25 fertilizers | Firecracker Marigold Seed x3 |
| Quest 4 | Complete 10 contracts | Liberty Spray x3 |
| Quest 5 | TBA | TBA |

Note: The fifth quest and its reward have not been revealed yet, so work through the first four while the event is live and check back on Uncle Sam for the final task.
How to clear the quests faster
The 2,500-crop target in Quest 1 is the biggest hurdle. Fill every ring slot with fast-growing crops before you log off so a full harvest is waiting when you return. Repeating that cycle chips away at the count without any active effort.
Quests 2 and 3 want 10 sprays and 25 fertilizers applied. The rainy weather event regularly drops free sprays and fertilizers, so join it and collect everything on offer. Apply what you gather to crops you are actively growing so nothing is wasted.
Quest 4 asks for 10 completed contracts. Contracts refresh as soon as you finish one, so check in often and clear them as they appear. Take the shortest contracts first to avoid getting stuck behind a single long timer while the rest sit idle.
The limited Bald Eagle pet
Update 9 also added a new event pet called the Bald Eagle. It is only obtainable during this week’s event, and it disappears once the event ends. The Bald Eagle costs 249 Robux, and its ability has not been revealed yet.
Even without a confirmed ability, event-only pets tend to hold value simply because they stop being available. If you collect limited pets or want something rare on your farm, the short buying window is the main reason to grab it now rather than later.
The holiday content is a short window, so the smart play is to work through Uncle Sam’s quests in order, keep your contracts moving, and decide on the Bald Eagle before the timer runs out. Clear all four available quests and you will have every Firecracker Marigold Seed and Liberty Spray the event currently offers.
