The Kortz Center Heist arrives in GTA Online on July 14, 2026 as Title Update 1.73, landing on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It is a multi-stage art robbery set in the Kortz Center gallery in Pacific Bluffs, and it is the first fully new heist added to the game since Cayo Perico. If you want to lead it the moment it drops, the groundwork has to be done in advance.
Quick answer: To host the heist at launch, own a Mansion, plan for the new Art Studio upgrade, and log into GTA Online before July 13 so you reach Elitist tier in the Fine Art Collector Program, which pays for most of the Art Studio.
What you need to host the Kortz Center Heist
Two things are required to start and lead the heist yourself. Without them you can still join another player’s heist, but you cannot host or set up your own.
| Requirement | What it does |
|---|---|
| Mansion property | Acts as your base of operations for all Kortz Center prep. |
| Art Studio upgrade | A new Mansion expansion where a counterfeiter paints forgeries, gear accumulates, and you build your Finale loadout. |
The Art Studio doubles as a gallery. You can host friends inside it, and instead of selling stolen paintings to Mr. Faber, you can display Primary Target artworks in your Mansion. Raf De Angelis handles reconnaissance and intel during the job, which can be run solo or with a crew of up to four.

A Mansion is the mandatory foundation, so this is the purchase to lock in early. Three properties are available from Prix Luxury Real Estate, and they share the same core features. The main difference is price and location.

| Mansion | Base price | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Tongva Estate | $11,500,000 | Cheapest option. |
| The Vinewood Residence | $12,200,000 | Mid-priced. |
| Richman Villa | $12,800,000 | Closest to the Kortz Center in Pacific Bluffs. |
Richman Villa in the Vinewood Hills is the most expensive but sits a short drive from the heist location. If you own GTA V on PS4 or the digital Xbox One version, you can upgrade to the current-gen version at no cost and carry over your progress. GTA+ members currently get a $2,000,000 discount on any Mansion purchase.
Claim the Fine Art Collector Program rewards before July 13
This is the free prep event running through July 13, and it is the single biggest reason to log in now. It has three tiers, and the top tier covers most of the Art Studio cost. Enthusiast and Patron rewards arrive within 72 hours of completion, while Elitist rewards are delivered when the heist launches on July 14.
| Tier | How to unlock | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Enthusiast | Log into GTA Online before July 13. | $500,000 and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo from Warstock. |
| Patron | Complete any Heist before July 13. | $1,000,000 and the NOOSE Outfit. |
| Elitist | Own a Mansion and play before July 13. | $1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio, a free Annihilator Stealth, a Sculpture, and a high-value Painting. |
For the Patron tier, Cayo Perico is the quickest route because it can be completed solo in under an hour. Any heist counts, so run whichever you are fastest at.
How much cash to have ready
Rockstar has not confirmed the Art Studio price. Based on how heist bases have been priced before, expect it to fall between $2,000,000 and $3,000,000, offset by the $1,000,000 Elitist discount. Beyond the Studio, budget for the new vehicles and weapons arriving with the update.
| Your situation | Rough total to bank |
|---|---|
| Already own a Mansion | About $12M to $15M (Art Studio plus new gear). |
| No Mansion yet | About $25M to $28M (Mansion, Art Studio, and new gear). |
Fastest ways to earn the cash now
The build-up period stacks several bonuses, so grinding this week is worth more than usual. Double GTA$ is running on bunker sales through July 13, and a full bunker sale in a busy public lobby pays over $2,000,000. If you own a Mansion, use its production speed boost on the bunker to move faster, and alternate with the acid lab on days the boost cannot stack.
Reliable earners to lean on include Cayo Perico, the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid, Agency VIP contracts, the acid lab, nightclub, and salvage yard. If you would rather skip the grind, there is a 40% GTA$ bonus on Great White, Whale, and Megalodon Shark Cards through August 5, which must be claimed by July 22.
Complete the Mansion missions
Once your Mansion is purchased, work through the property’s story missions. They set up the Kortz Center storyline and pay out along the way.

Save the rest for the Art Studio
With the Mansion, missions, and Fine Art Collector rewards handled, keep banking money for the Art Studio expansion. It is where the counterfeiter produces fakes to swap for the real paintings inside the Kortz Center, and it stores the gear you draw from for the Finale. The Elitist discount trims $1,000,000 off the price, so reaching that tier before July 13 directly lowers what you pay at launch.
You will know you are ready when you own a Mansion, have the cash reserve for the Art Studio and new gear waiting in the bank, and see your Elitist rewards delivered on July 14. From there, the counterfeiter moves in, and scoping the gallery in Pacific Bluffs becomes your first job.
