Anime Overseer Beginner Guide: How to Get Free Gems, Gold, and Rerolls (Roblox)

Every active code, what it grants, and how to spend gems, gold, and trait rerolls without wasting them.

Every active code, what it grants, and how to spend gems, gold, and trait rerolls without wasting them.

Anime Overseer is a tower defense strategy game on Roblox where you collect units, build a team, and clear waves of enemies for rewards. As a new player, the three resources you feel the pressure to stack early are gems, gold, and trait rerolls. The quickest free supply of all three comes from the game’s code list, and the codes currently in rotation hand out thousands of gems and gold on top of stacks of trait discs and crafting items.

Quick answer: Collect every active code now (they grant gems, gold, and trait rerolls), but hold off on spending gems until you know which units you’re keeping, and save your trait rerolls for those keepers. Code redemption is not live in the game yet, so keep the active codes ready for when the redeem feature ships.

How code redemption works right now

Anime Overseer is in Early Access, and a redemption function has not been built into the game yet. That means you cannot type these codes in and claim the rewards at this moment, even though the codes themselves are already public. Keep the list above handy so you can enter everything the day the redeem box goes live.

When a code fails to work after redemption arrives, the reason is almost always one of a few things. Check for the exact cause before assuming a code is dead.

  • A stray space before or after the code. Paste it clean.
  • Wrong capitalization. Codes are case sensitive, so copy and paste rather than retype.
  • The code has expired since codes can stop working after a limited window.
  • You already claimed it on that account. Codes are one use per account.
  • You’re in a different game with a similar name. Confirm you’re on the correct Anime Overseer.

You’ll know a code worked when the reward items land in your account and your gem, gold, or trait reroll totals climb by the listed amount. If nothing changes and you got no error, re-check the spelling first.

How to spend gems, gold, and trait rerolls

Grabbing the resources is only half the job. Spending them at the wrong time is the most common way new players stall out, so treat each resource differently.

Gems

Gems are one of the game’s main premium currencies, and they do the most work when funneled into the summoning system. Letting them pile up unused slows your roster growth, so pull once you have enough for a meaningful summon rather than hoarding indefinitely.

Trait rerolls

Trait rerolls are valuable and easy to burn on the wrong units. Hold them until you’re confident which characters you plan to keep long term. Rerolling traits on a unit you’ll replace within an hour is wasted value.

Gold

Gold comes from codes and general progression, and you’ll keep needing it as your account develops. Keep a reserve instead of dumping it all at once so you’re never short when an upgrade you actually want comes up.

Keeping your codes current

Because the game is still in Early Access, mechanics and progression can shift quickly between updates, and old advice goes stale fast. New codes tend to appear alongside updates and milestones, so it’s worth re-checking the list after each patch. The developers have already released several batches, and claiming fresh codes early gives you the biggest head start.

The quickest place to catch new codes as they drop is the game’s official community, which you can join through the Anime Overseer Discord. From there you can also confirm you’re playing the correct experience before you spend any resources. Stack the codes above, spend deliberately, and check back after every update to keep your gem, gold, and trait reroll income flowing.
