Gymnastics (searched most as “gymnastics dti”) is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. The game gives only the name, so the reading here is ours: a gymnast’s competition look, which means a fitted top with some sparkle or shine, hair pulled up into a ponytail, and bare feet. We built two looks in Freeplay Mode, a hot pink glitter corset top and a turquoise metallic halter, and took our own pictures of each step. Every piece, color and face used is free, so both work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.
Quick answer: Go barefoot, wear the black corset top from the tops wall in hot pink Glitter, and add the salon’s long ponytail with bangs (“Updo” tab). For a second look, swap in the white halter in turquoise Metallic.
Gymnastics outfit ideas in Dress To Impress
Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and the spot we used on the Default palette (columns from the left, rows from the top). Joining Freeplay Mode puts you in the bald base body with a black top and black shorts; those cannot be taken off, only covered. We found no leotard bottom or gym shorts to put on, so the black base shorts show in both looks. Under a fitted top they read like gym shorts, but they are part of the base body, not of the outfit.
Look 1: Hot pink glitter corset
Our idea: a strapless top that shines like competition wear, a long ponytail and nothing on the feet.

With those colors the top came out pink and white, with a lace look across the front, and the black base shorts below it. We wanted a solid color, so we changed one part.

Now the top reads as a solid hot pink glitter corset with a hot pink lace frill at the hem and a small white bead at the neckline.

The finished look from the front: the hot pink glitter corset top, auburn bangs with the ponytail behind them, and the black base shorts.

Full length on the Freeplay Runway, barefoot, the hot pink top is the only color on the outfit.

From behind, the long ponytail hangs down the back.

Look 2: Turquoise metallic halter
Our idea: a shinier, cooler take with a high-neck halter, a platinum ponytail and a made-up face.

The finished look from the front: platinum bangs, the doll face, the turquoise metallic halter with its choker and the black base shorts, barefoot.

From behind, the platinum hair reads as a high ponytail over the bare back of the halter.

Add to Google Preferences →Why these looks read as Gymnastics
Gymnastics wear is fitted, shiny and simple, and the hair is tied back. Both looks keep to one strong color on a close-fitting top, use Glitter or Metallic so it catches the light like competition wear, pull the hair into a ponytail and leave the feet bare. That is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.

How to make a piece sparkly or shiny
- Click the piece in the Dressing Room so it shows on you as a preview and its color panel opens.
- Pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/4: Preview”, “2/4: Preview” and so on). Each part takes its own color and material.
- Choose the color on the Palette tab (the Default palette: columns are hues, rows run light to dark, and the last row runs from white to black).
- Open the “+” tab and click Glitter or Metallic for that part. Some materials show a lock; Glitter and Metallic were open on our account.
- Repeat for every part, then press “Put On”. To change a piece you already wear, including your hair, click its picture in the Wearing panel and set the part again.
To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture in the Wearing panel. That is also how you go barefoot: take every pair of shoes off there.
Gymnastics colors on the Default palette
Rows count from the top of the palette, columns from the left. These are the spots we used for both looks.
| Color | Column | Row | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Purple | 3 | 5 | Corset “1/4: Preview” (Glitter) |
| Hot pink | 2 | 5 | Corset “2/4: Preview” and “3/4: Preview” (Glitter) |
| White | 1 | 8 | Corset “4/4: Preview” (Metallic) |
| Turquoise | 5 | 6 | Halter “1/1: Preview” (Metallic) |
| Platinum blonde | 9 | 3 | Ponytail “1/1: Preview” (Look 2) |
Gymnastics pieces to look for
None of these pieces has a name in the game, so look for them by place and shape. All of them are free and worked on our account with no VIP and 0 stars.

Poses for Gymnastics
Any free pose from the Poses menu works; a raised arm shows off the top and the ponytail. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.
Building it in Freeplay Mode first
Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to find the pieces and test colors and materials without a round running out. That matters here: the corset has four parts, and the first color set gave a lace look we did not want, which took a second pass from the Wearing panel to fix. Once a look works, you know which shelf, which palette spots and which parts to go to when Gymnastics comes up in a real round. How a theme round works
We have not had Gymnastics as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.
The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Gymnastics to roll.
What we have not checked
No round we joined rolled Gymnastics, so these looks have not walked a real round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We found no full leotard, gym shorts or tights to put on, so the black base shorts show in both looks. We did not add scrunchies, hair ribbons or any accessories. Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.
FAQ
What is the Gymnastics theme in Dress To Impress?
The game gives only the theme’s name. We read it as a gymnast’s competition look: a fitted, shiny top, hair tied back in a ponytail and bare feet.
Can I do Gymnastics without VIP?
Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece, color, material and face used here worked on it, with no lock or price on any of them.
Is there a leotard in Dress To Impress?
We did not find one on the shelves we used. A fitted top over the black base shorts gives the same two-piece gym shape; the corset top and the high-neck halter both work.
How do I make clothes sparkly?
While the piece is still a preview, pick a part, open the “+” tab and click Glitter (or Metallic for a smooth shine), then press “Put On”. For a piece you already wear, open it from the Wearing panel first.
Can I go barefoot?
Yes. Open the Wearing panel and click the heart X under the shoes. Both of our Gymnastics looks are barefoot.
Where is the face makeup in Freeplay?
At the makeup vanity in Lana’s Salon. Press E at a chair; the face presets sit on the right under “Feminine”, “Masculine” and “Toy Codes”. The doll face we used is the middle card in the 2nd row of “Feminine”.
