Gems are a core currency in Haze Seas, and you need them for several in-game purchases. The problem is that they trickle in slowly unless you actively target the sources that pay out. Four systems drop gems reliably, and stacking all of them is the fastest way to build a balance.
Quick answer: Farm superbosses like Tremor Girl (20 gems per kill) and Fire Fist (25 gems per kill), complete daily quests to hit quest-point milestones, claim every playtime reward, and redeem active codes from the Haze Seas Discord.

Superboss farming: the fastest active gem source
Defeating superbosses gives a flat gem payout on top of money and items, which makes them the best active method once your build can handle high-level enemies. Two superbosses have confirmed gem drops and clear summon chains.
| Superboss | Gems | How to summon |
|---|---|---|
| Tremor Girl [Lv. 1000] | 20 | Defeat the Ice Admiral [Lv. 900] at Marine Ford to get the Tremor Key, then unlock the skull-and-crossbones door and interact. |
| Fire Fist [Lv. 1400] | 25 | Beat the Warden [Lv. 1400] at Impel Jail for a Match, light the campfire on Jungle Island, collect three Pearls, then activate three Totems. |

Add to Google Preferences →Daily quests and milestone gifts
Open the Quests menu and work through the Daily Quests tab. Each completed daily quest awards Quest Points, and reaching point milestones unlocks reward chests that can contain gems.
Milestone chests sit at 40, 80, 120, 160, and 200 Quest Points. Every listed daily quest gives +35 Quest Points, so clearing a handful of them each day pushes you across multiple milestones.
| Daily quest | Objective |
|---|---|
| Beast Hunter | Kill a Sea Beast (0/1) |
| Gambler | Spin for a fruit 5 times (0/5) |
| Haze Seas Fan | Play for at least 60 minutes |
| Chest Enthusiast | Open 10 Chests (0/10) |
| The Main Character | Kill 200 NPCs |
Because the rewards are consistent, running these quests every day is one of the steadiest ways to accumulate gems over time.

Playtime rewards and AFK gifts
Open the Playtime Rewards menu to see a grid of gift boxes tied to how long you have been in the game. A box labeled Ready!!! can be claimed immediately, and the menu also has a Teleport to AFK Rewards option so you can keep earning while idle.
The earliest gifts are small, but claiming all of them after longer sessions or AFK time can hand over gems and even Legendary Fruits. The reward timer resets on a roughly 24-hour cycle, so it is worth clearing the boxes each day.

Redeem codes for free gems
Some Haze Seas codes reward gems directly. New codes are posted on the official Haze Seas Discord as they release, and they expire, so redeem each one as soon as it goes live to avoid missing the gems.
The most efficient routine combines all four systems. Clear your daily quests and claim the milestone chests, farm Tremor Girl and Fire Fist whenever your build is strong enough, collect every playtime gift, and redeem any active code the moment it drops. Done together, these keep gems flowing far faster than relying on any single method.
