Sea Events are the fastest way to earn Gems, Money, Levels, Devil Fruits, and rare crafting materials in Haze Seas once you cross into Sea 2 and Sea 3. Some spawn on a fixed timer, and others only appear after you clear a specific objective or wait for a Storm. Knowing the exact trigger for each one lets you show up on time instead of missing the window.
Quick answer: Watch server announcements. Storms drive Ghost Ship and Zenith, the Treasure Shrine Raid is the best repeatable Sea 2 farm, and each Sea 3 world boss needs its own trigger — a timer, a kill count, an island defense, or a summon item.

Every Sea Event trigger and timer
Use this table to see how each event starts and how often it becomes available. Events marked as planned are not fully live yet.
| Event | Sea | How it starts |
|---|---|---|
| Storm | Sea 2 / Sea 3 | Every 2h 35m, lasts 10 minutes |
| Treasure Shrine Raid | Sea 2 | Roughly 1h 45m after the last raid ends |
| Zenith Boss | Sea 2 | During a Storm, beneath Shadow Island |
| Ghost Ship | Sea 3 | During a Storm, sacrifice fruits worth 20 points |
| Red Emperor | Sea 3 | Every 4 hours in the Throne Room |
| Ryujin | Sea 3 | Defeat 500 enemies on Rainbow Sky Island |
| Saturn | Sea 3 | Defend Egghead Island through 3 waves |
| Dragon Hybrid | Sea 3 | Use a Special Trumpet summon item |
| Cthulhu (planned) | Sea 3 | Throw a Prismatic Shard into the Whirlpool during a Storm |

Storms are the backbone of late-game events. They hit both Sea 2 and Sea 3 every 2 hours and 35 minutes and stay active for only 10 minutes. During that short window, bosses and activities that are locked at all other times become reachable.
A Storm is required for the Ghost Ship, the Zenith Boss, several end-game quests, and the future Cthulhu event. When you see a Storm notification, drop what you are doing and head to the relevant spawn, because there is no way to extend the timer.

Treasure Shrine Raid (best Sea 2 farm)
The Treasure Shrine Raid is the most profitable repeatable event in Sea 2. It respawns about 1 hour and 45 minutes after the previous raid ends and can appear at one of three Sea 2 locations. The server sends a notification, then the raid officially begins 30 seconds later.
Inside is a treasure vault with roughly 2 to 3 million HP. You have five minutes to destroy it before the room floods. If the timer runs out, the vault closes, water fills the room, and everyone still inside is defeated.
To earn rewards, you must deal at least 10% of the total damage. Meeting that threshold pays out 30,000 to 80,000 Money, 1 Level, 25 Gems, and a guaranteed Shrine Relic. The single highest-damage player also gets a random Rare or higher Devil Fruit.
Zenith Boss
Zenith only appears during a Storm and spawns beneath Shadow Island for a limited time. It is a gatekeeper for major progression systems, including the Zenith Sword, Three Sword Style upgrades, and the Race V2 Quest. If you are building toward end-game power, defeating Zenith is close to mandatory.

Ghost Ship (Storm-only Sea 3 event)
The Ghost Ship is a Sea 3 event that becomes available during a Storm. A green Ghost Altar spawns near the starter area, and players sacrifice Devil Fruits to it until the offering reaches a total of 20 points. Once the total is met, the server announces that the Phantom Ship has risen from the sea.
Fruit values stack, so a single Mythic offering finishes the summon instantly:
| Fruit rarity | Points |
|---|---|
| Common | 1 |
| Uncommon | 3 |
| Rare | 5 |
| Legendary | 15 |
| Mythic | 20 (instant) |
Clearing the ship can reward the Phantom Lantern, a Blade Fragment at a 10% chance, 2 Levels, 50 Gems, 50,000 Money, and a Ghost Chest. The Ghost Chest is personal and vanishes after 20 seconds, so open it the moment it appears. Inside you may find a Ghostly Haki Color, 5 Race Spins, or a random Rare or higher Devil Fruit.
Tip: The Phantom Lantern is one of five materials needed for the planned Cthulhu summon, so bank it rather than spending it.

Sea 3 world bosses
Four world bosses drive Sea 3 progression, and each one drops a crafting material tied to future upgrades. Their triggers are all different, so plan around the one you need.
Red Emperor
Red Emperor spawns every 4 hours inside the Throne Room. Defeating Super Bosses across servers cuts that timer by 10 minutes each, up to a maximum of 2 hours off. His drop table includes the Griffin at 2.5%, the Emperor Cape at 5%, 2 Blade Fragments, 2 Levels, 50 Gems, 50,000 Money, and the Dominion Over Red title.
Ryujin
Ryujin does not spawn on a timer. You summon it by defeating 500 enemies on Rainbow Sky Island. Rewards include the Ryujin Core, a Blade Fragment, Levels, Gems, Money, and the God’s Judgement title. The Ryujin Core is a required Cthulhu material.
Saturn
Saturn appears after you defend Egghead Island through three pirate waves, with the final wave adding two Devil Fruit bosses. Clearing every wave spawns the boss. Drops include Saturn’s Ring, the Gravity Gauntlet at 15%, a Blade Fragment, Levels, Gems, Money, and the Authority Denied title. Saturn’s Ring is another Cthulhu crafting material.
Dragon Hybrid
Dragon Hybrid needs a Special Trumpet to summon. That item has a chance to appear inside random chests every 2 hours and a very small chance to drop from any Sea 3 NPC. Defeating the boss can reward the Dragon Heart, a Blade Fragment, 2 Levels, 50 Gems, 50,000 Money, and the Hybrid Slayer title. The Dragon Heart is the fourth confirmed Cthulhu material.

Cthulhu and the Prismatic Shard (planned)
Cthulhu is expected to be the hardest boss in Haze Seas, sitting at Level 10,000 with two separate health bars. Before you can summon it, you need to craft a Prismatic Shard from five materials pulled from the earlier events.
- Phantom Lantern (Ghost Ship)
- Dragon Heart (Dragon Hybrid)
- Sea Beast Heart
- Ryujin Core (Ryujin)
- Saturn’s Ring (Saturn)
Planned rewards are the highest in the game so far, including the Abyssal Eye, a guaranteed Legendary or higher Devil Fruit for top damage, the Abyssal Haki Color at 10%, 5 Levels, 250 Gems, 500,000 Money, and multiple Abyss-themed titles.
Wandering Merchant (planned)
The Wandering Merchant is an upcoming Sea 3 NPC rather than a boss. It appears randomly every 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes at different locations and sells rare upgrade materials directly for Money.
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Ancient Blade Relic | 1,000,000 Money |
| Blade Fragment | 300,000 Money |
Each item can only be bought once before the merchant leaves, so decide what you need before you approach.

Which events to prioritize
If you want the most out of your play time, the Treasure Shrine Raid is the top pick in Sea 2 for Gems, Money, Shrine Relics, and Devil Fruits. Storms sit just behind it because they unlock Zenith, the Ghost Ship, and future Cthulhu content. In Sea 3, the four world bosses matter most, since Red Emperor, Ryujin, Saturn, and Dragon Hybrid each hand over crafting materials required for powerful weapons and later upgrades. Learning each spawn condition, reacting to server announcements, and joining whenever the window opens is the quickest route through the Sea 2 and Sea 3 grind.
