During Chapter 5 of Final Fantasy Resonance, Lid relies on the Mysidia Radar aboard the airship to locate Mysidia. After a magi-tenna from Gaberada improves the device, it can uncover 13 concealed treasures around the world, all of which you reach by airship.
Quick answer: Get the magi-tenna in Gaberada, the Undertown, give it to Lid on the airship’s bridge, then scan from the air. A Resonance Stone and a High-Power Generator let the radar find all 13 treasures.

Add to Google Preferences →What the Mysidia Radar is
The radar arrives during Chapter 5. Right after the “Enter the airship’s interior” objective, the next one reads “Find Mysidia”. The tutorial lays out the idea: “Use the Mysidia Radar to search for Mysidia’s location. When you scan with the radar, Lid will tell you the results, so use her hints to search around.”
Scanning is set by default to X on keyboard and RT on a controller. To check or reassign these inputs, open the controls. Once a scan finishes, Lid tells you how far away the signal is and which way to go:
- “Hang on… It’s faint, but I’m getting a reading.”
- “Got something! It’s still far, though.”
- “Bingo! There’s a hotspot to the north!”
- “Getting hotter! It’s to the east!”
- “We’re close! Maybe a bit to the north!”
- “We’re so, SO close! Just a smidge to the west!”
- “Nothing here. Moving along…” when there is nothing in range
How to unlock treasure hunting
The radar does nothing extra until its main job is done. When you reach Mysidia, Lid hints at what comes next: “We already found Mysidia, but I have feeling we can repurpose this radar for something else.” Sakura has already told her “there’s treasure scattered across the world—hidden with magic, just waiting to be found.”
After finishing the upgrade, Lid announces, “Job’s done! We can now use the radar to look for hidden booty!”
How to use the radar to find treasure
Treasure hunting works exactly like the search for Mysidia. Lid puts it plainly: “It works the same way it did when we used it to find Mysidia. Just head towards whatever the radar is picking up, then we can hoist the treasure up by pinging on top of it.” She also adds a reminder: “Don’t forget to use it when we’re in the air.”
A successful pull gets lines like “Nice find!” and “Got ’em!” Your very first one triggers “Found our first treasure! Let’s go look for the rest when we can!”
Radar upgrades: Resonance Stone and High-Power Generator
The magi-tenna alone won’t reveal everything. At some point the scans come back empty, and Lid says “Hmm…the radar seems to have stopped picking up treasure.” and “Maybe we can improve its sensitivity… Might need an item for that, though.” Two items fix that: a Resonance Stone and a High-Power Generator.

Resonance Stone
This one is “A type of rock that increases magic sensitivity. Can be used to upgrade the Mysidia Radar.” It sits in a chest on Mt. Reizan (recommended level 46), and Chapter 7’s objectives include “Go to Mt. Reizan”. Lid takes a look once you step away from the helm and fits it: “It’s now able to sniff out treasure that it wasn’t able to pick up before.”
High-Power Generator
This one is “A device that increases radar output. Can be used to upgrade the Mysidia Radar.” The Merchant Ship sells it for 60,000 Gil from Chapter 8. Until you buy it, Lid says “I think I can increase its power, but…I’ll need another item. Wonder if it’s sold anywhere.” Once it is fitted, the radar can “detect any kind of treasure that’s out there!”
When you have pulled up every treasure, Lid confirms it: “Looks like that’s all the treasure we can find with the radar! I can die happy now.”
All 13 Mysidia Radar hidden treasures
Here is each treasure with the game’s own description or stats, grouped by kind.

Valuables (4)
- Adamantite: “An extremely hard and rare metal. Can be used as a material to craft weapons in the right hands.”
- Magicite: “A stone imbued with the power of the Farplane. Has the power to awaken visions.”
- Magicite Cryst (two separate treasures): “A magicite cryst imbued with the power of the Farplane. Has the power to awaken visions.”
Ancient equipment (2)
The Ancient Garment (light armor) and Ancient Hammer (hammer) both belong to the set of 12 Ancient pieces. They share the same in-game hint: “Hidden by an invisibility spell, many have failed to claim it. Break the spell and it shall be yours.”
Armor and weapons (2)
| Treasure | Type | Stats |
|---|---|---|
| Spell Jacket | Light armor | Physical Defense 115, Magic Defense 181 |
| High Caster | Rod | Physical Attack 145, Magic Attack 192, Speed 30 |
The High Caster also carries a trade-off: “Increases MP cost of magic by 50%, but also increases stagger power by 30%.”
Accessories (5)
- Berserker Ring: “Grants constant Berserk.”
- Dark Rosary: “Consumes 500 HP with every action, but increases stagger power by 30%.”
- Evil Eye: “Consumes 500 HP with every action, but increases damage dealt by 20%.”
- Mastery Pendant: “Doubles MRP gained.”
- Philosopher’s Stone: “Restores 5% of max MP on the wielder’s turn.”
Which Mysidia Radar treasures are worth chasing
You can obtain the Ancient Garment and Ancient Hammer only through the radar, so finding them is necessary if you’re collecting all 12 Ancient equipment pieces. The Mastery Pendant doubles MRP, helping you advance through Vision Mastery Ranks more quickly.
The materials pay off too. If you are still figuring out where to get Adamantite for crafting, the radar hands you one. Likewise, if you need to know where to get Magicite for awakening Visions, it gives you one Magicite and two Magicite Cryst. The Evil Eye and Dark Rosary suit aggressive builds, trading 500 HP per action for extra damage or stagger. You can line them up against the rest in the full accessories list.
