Himeko • Nova is a 5-star Fire damage dealer on the Path of Erudition, and her Eidolons swing hard between “quietly useful” and “worth a serious Stellar Jade commitment.” Each copy either sharpens her Assist Skill loop, raises her Source Energy ceiling, or just bumps ability levels. Below is where every Eidolon lands once you weigh what it actually adds against what it costs to unlock.
Quick answer: E2 is the best value pull, E6 is the biggest raw power spike but the most expensive, E1 is a fine follow-up once you already own her signature Light Cone, and E4 is skippable unless you are going all the way to E6.

Himeko Nova Eidolon tier list
This ranking reflects pull value in the current 4.4 patch, judged on how much each Eidolon lifts her real damage output relative to the number of copies you need. Level-only Eidolons (E3 and E5) are grouped as filler because they add ability ranks rather than new mechanics.
| Tier | Eidolon | Why it lands here |
|---|---|---|
| S | E2 — The Colors We Never Strike | Best overall value; two Assist Skill charges, a big multiplier bump, and extra turns for allies. |
| A | E6 — Ours Is the Oath to Sail Starward | Largest power gain, but the steepest Jade cost of any copy. |
| B | E1 — That Which We Stride Is the Trailblaze | Most accessible copy; strong after her signature Light Cone, not before. |
| C | E4 — Let No Skyward Hand Stay Unheld | Small team damage boost for a high unlock cost; skip unless chasing E6. |
| D | E3 / E5 — level-only Eidolons | Pure ability rank increases with no new effects. |

Add to Google Preferences →E2 is the standout: extra charges and multipliers
Himeko • Nova is already a complete DPS at E0, so the case for E2 is about scaling what she does most. It raises the maximum uses of her Assist Skill to 2 and sets both her Ultimate and Assist Skill damage to 130% of their base values. That is a direct multiplier on her two biggest damage sources.
The Eidolon also feeds her rotation. While she holds Navigator’s Semaphore, she recovers an extra Assist Skill use at the start of each turn, so the loop keeps firing. On top of that, its extension of the “Hark! The Express’s Pulse Roars” trace grants an extra turn even to non-Trailblaze Companions who use the Assist Skill, which loosens her team-building. For most players, this is the copy that justifies pulling past E0.

E6 gives the most power for the highest cost
Her sixth Eidolon is the single largest damage jump, which is why it sits just below E2 on value rather than above it. It raises her Fire Type RES PEN by 20% and lifts her maximum Source Energy capacity to 6 points. Whenever an ally uses or triggers an Assist Skill, that skill’s damage increases by 75% and Himeko gains a Source Energy point, and each Hyperluminal Particle Beam during her Ultimate also generates a point.
The payoff comes at full charge. When she launches Orbital Annihilation Pulse with 6 or more Source Energy, it deals an additional instance of Fire damage to all enemies equal to 160% of her ATK. The effect is real, but reaching E6 means chasing six copies, so it only makes sense if you are already deep into her verticals.
E1 is cheap, but comes after the Light Cone
E1 is the easiest copy to reach and it targets her core damage engine, the Assist Skill. It adds one extra trigger to the Talent’s Assist Skill effect and increases the number of extra DMG instances she generates when she launches the Assist Skill. In the Companion Protocol: Verdict state it cuts the Ultimate uses needed to fire the free Assist Skill by 1, and in Companion Protocol: Decimation it reduces the required Charge by 3.
The caveat is priority. Her signature Light Cone, A Star That Lights the Night, delivers more value than E1 because of its stacked DEF Ignore, Energy, and damage bonuses. Grab the Light Cone first, then treat E1 as the natural next step if you want more Assist Skill triggers.
E4 and the level-only Eidolons are the ones to skip
E4 extends the RES PEN portion of her “Of Fire and Far Faring” Talent to the whole team when they use the Assist Skill, and Himeko herself gains an additional 10% All-Type RES PEN. It is a team-wide benefit, but the return is marginal for how many copies it takes to unlock. Leave it unless you are committed to reaching E6.
E3 and E5 sit at the bottom because they only raise ability levels. E3 bumps her Ultimate by 2 (up to Lv. 15) and her Basic ATK by 1 (up to Lv. 10), while E5 raises her Skill by 2 and Talent by 2 (each up to Lv. 15). Useful padding on the way to E6, but never a target on their own.
Every Himeko Nova Eidolon at reference
| Eidolon | Name | Core effect |
|---|---|---|
| E1 | That Which We Stride Is the Trailblaze | Extra Talent Assist Skill trigger; lower Ultimate/Charge cost to launch it; more extra DMG instances. |
| E2 | The Colors We Never Strike | Assist Skill max uses become 2; Ultimate and Assist Skill deal 130% damage; extra Assist Skill recovery and ally extra turns. |
| E3 | We Who Are Starborn Muse Starward | Ultimate +2 (max Lv. 15); Basic ATK +1 (max Lv. 10). |
| E4 | Let No Skyward Hand Stay Unheld | Talent RES PEN applies to all allies; Himeko gains an extra 10% All-Type RES PEN. |
| E5 | To Cross the Cosmos and Beyond | Skill +2 and Talent +2 (each max Lv. 15). |
| E6 | Ours Is the Oath to Sail Starward | +20% Fire Type RES PEN; Source Energy cap 6; +75% Assist Skill DMG on ally use; 160% ATK AoE Fire burst at max energy. |
For most Trailblazers, the smart path is simple. Secure her signature Light Cone first, stop at E0 if you want the best jade efficiency, and only reach for E2 if you have the resources for a clean value spike. E6 is the endgame goal for dedicated owners, while E4, E3, and E5 are steps you pass through rather than destinations you aim for.
