Sephira’s Sanguine Glimmer is a Chaos+ Key Quest in the Endless Ragnarok expansion for Granblue Fantasy: Relink. It pits your party against the Aquila Ruby Golem and gates the blood rubies you need to finish Fraux’s side quest chain. Clearing it is the final step toward recruiting Fraux as a playable crewmate.
Quick answer: Return to Fraux and accept the Hidden Gems of Aquila side quest, then complete Sephira’s Sanguine Glimmer by defeating the Aquila Ruby Golem to collect the blood rubies. Finishing this side quest chain lets you recruit Fraux.

Requirements before the quest appears
Sephira’s Sanguine Glimmer only becomes available well into the Endless Ragnarok storyline, after you have been promoted to Fatebreaker and worked through the Chaos+ Key Quests. You must also have progressed Fraux’s side quest line up to this point, since the fight is tied to it.
| Prerequisite | Detail |
|---|---|
| Reach Fatebreaker difficulty | Win the Chaos Rank-Up Quest against the Eternals, then progress to Chaos+ Key Quests. |
| Advance Fraux’s side quests | Complete Gods of a World Beyond and A Glint of Things to Come in Seedhollow before this fight. |
| Clear earlier Chaos+ story quests | Continue through quests such as Wildfire, which unlocks the seventh Ragnalia Memory, to reach this stage. |

The Aquila Ruby Golem fight
The quest takes place in a desert arena where a giant red crystal monster, the Aquila Ruby Golem, rises from the ground. It is a Level 50 boss with a single large health bar. The primary objective is simply to bring that health bar to zero within the time limit.
Two attacks stand out. The Golem winds up an Earth Shaker that sends shockwaves across the whole arena, and it mixes in repeated ground slams with wide area-of-effect swings. Keep moving between combos so you can dodge these instead of trading hits, then punish the recovery windows.
Note: Link Attacks and Skybound Arts do heavy work here. Chaining party SBAs triggers a Full Burst, and pushing Link level to 100% activates Link Time, which slows the action and boosts your damage output. Landing these bursts is the fastest way to strip the Golem’s health.

Side goals and scoring
Alongside the main objective, the quest tracks three optional side goals. Meeting them adds bonus points to your final evaluation and rank, but they are not required to complete the quest or collect the blood rubies.
| Side goal | Reward |
|---|---|
| Perform at least 8 Link Attacks | +120,000 pts |
| Trigger a Full Burst at least 2 times | +120,000 pts |
| Clear within 4 minutes | Bonus points on completion |
The Link Attack and Full Burst goals fall out naturally if you play aggressively, since both feed into the same burst-heavy strategy that clears the Golem quickly. The four-minute clear is the strictest goal and can be skipped if you only need the quest reward rather than a perfect score.
Confirming completion and recruiting Fraux
When the Golem’s health hits zero, it shatters into red crystal shards, gold treasure chests drop onto the arena floor, and the QUEST CLEARED prompt appears before the Battle Results screen. The blood rubies are handed over as part of the reward.
Report back to Fraux to close out the Hidden Gems of Aquila side quest. Completing this final entry in her chain, after Gods of a World Beyond and A Glint of Things to Come, makes Fraux recruitable. You can add her with her Special Crewmate Card from Siero’s Knickknack Shop, or spend two Normal Crewmate Cards to bring her in earlier.

Once Fraux joins the crew, the story continues with the Procession of Dragons quest, so finishing Sephira’s Sanguine Glimmer both fills out your roster and clears the way to the next stretch of Endless Ragnarok.
