Palworld Ranch Farming: Every Pal Drop and Condensation Rank

Which Pals with the Farming skill produce Electric Organs, Ice Organs, cloth, and spheres at the Ranch, and how condensation raises output.

Which Pals with the Farming skill produce Electric Organs, Ice Organs, cloth, and spheres at the Ranch, and how condensation raises output.

Farming is one of the Work Suitability skills a Pal can carry, and it only pays off inside a Ranch. Assign a Pal that has the skill, and it will graze and drop a specific item on a repeating timer. This is how you turn a base into a steady supply of Electric Organs, Ice Organs, wool, cloth, and even Pal Spheres without leaving home.

Quick answer: Place a Pal with the Farming suitability inside a Ranch. It produces its assigned item roughly every 50 seconds. Ranking that Pal up in the Pal Condenser raises the maximum quantity it can drop per harvest.

How Ranch farming works

A Pal assigned to the Ranch produces its item on a cycle of about 50 seconds. Every Farming Pal starts at level 1 in the skill. That skill level rises to 2 at maximum condensation, but the jump gives no extra benefit on its own. The real gains come from the Partner Skill level, which climbs as you condense the Pal.

Each condensation rank adds a chance to drop extra items. The pattern is straightforward.

Condenser rankItems per harvest
Rank 01
Rank 11–2
Rank 21–3
Rank 31–4
Rank 41–5

Reaching Rank 4 takes 116 sacrificial Pals of the same species. Across those ranks you gain an average of about half an extra item per harvest per rank. A single Ranch holds up to four workers. Using four large Pals in the same Ranch has been known to cause problems, so mix in smaller species if you want a full house. Farming Pals also pair well with Transporting Pals, which haul the drops off the ground and into storage.

Every Farming Pal and what it produces

The table below lists each Pal with the Farming suitability, the item it drops at the Ranch, and its base food cost. Sparkit is your source for Electric Organs, while Mau Cryst and Foxcicle cover Ice Organs for cooling recipes.

Condensation output values

The numbers below are the average items produced per roughly 50-second cycle at each condenser rank. Most Pals follow the standard column, while a few species have their own scaling.

Rank01234
Most Pals11.522.53
Mau (Gold)1015202530
Melpaca, Cremis2.52.533.54
Vixy (Pal Sphere)11.52.52.52.5

Cremis and Melpaca are the exception among wool producers. Each one drops an extra Wool by default, giving two per harvest and scaling up to 2–6 based on rank. That is why they sit higher than the standard curve.

Vixy and randomized drops

Vixy is the only Farming Pal that produces multiple different item types. On each harvest it rolls one item type from its list, then quantity scales with rank. Its lineup includes Arrows, Bone, Gold Coins, Pal Spheres, Mega Spheres, Giga Spheres, and Hyper Spheres. The heavier the sphere, the higher the condensation rank you need before it can appear.

Sphere tierFirst appears at
Pal SphereRank 1
Mega SphereRank 3
Giga SphereRank 4
Hyper SphereRank 5

Pal Spheres carry the highest drop weight, so most Vixy rolls still land there. Rarer spheres like the Hyper Sphere sit at well under one percent, meaning they show up only occasionally even on a fully condensed Vixy.

Ranch-only items you cannot buy

Most Ranch drops can also be bought from at least one merchant, so the Ranch is a convenience rather than the only route. Four items are exceptions and can only come from Farming Pals: Giga Spheres, Hyper Spheres, Cotton Candy, and Honey. If you want a reliable stream of those, Vixy handles the spheres while Woolipop supplies Cotton Candy and Beegarde supplies Honey.

Gold income from Ranch Pals

If your goal is money rather than materials, some producers pull far ahead of others. The figures below are the average gold per day when every item is sold, comparing an unranked Pal to a Rank 4 one. Dumud sells High Quality Pal Oil as Polymer, and Caprity’s berries are counted as Cooked Berries.

Keep Pals inside the Ranch

Ranch Pals can wander out of the pen at any time. When they leave, their production timer pauses, so a Pal that keeps escaping produces almost nothing. Two placement tricks fix this.

Place a Bell on each side of the Ranch entrance, then set a Feed Box in between them. This setup blocks the exit and keeps the Pals grazing instead of straying. Even with this in place, you may still need to manually throw your Pals back into the Ranch after fast traveling or logging in, since they can spawn outside the pen.

You will know farming is running correctly when items steadily pile up on the Ranch floor every cycle and a Transporting Pal or your own inventory keeps clearing them. If output stalls, check that the Pal is actually inside the pen, that food is stocked, and that you have not exceeded a workable count of large Pals in a single Ranch.
