Setting up your Microsoft Edge Workspace

Ensure you are signed into your Microsoft account in the Edge browser. Click on the Microsoft Edge Workspace icon located next to your profile picture at the top-right corner of the browser window.

In the drop-down menu that appears, click on the ‘Create New’ button to initiate a new workspace.

Once your workspace is set up, you can invite team members to collaborate within it.

Click on the ‘Invite’ button located at the top-right corner of the workspace window to begin adding collaborators.

In the invitation window, type the email addresses of the team members you wish to invite and send the invitations.

Alternatively, you can click on the ‘Copy Link’ button to generate a shareable link. Share this link directly with your team members via email or any preferred communication channel.

Once team members receive the invitation link, they can join the workspace by clicking on it. After joining, their initials will appear at the top-right corner of the tabs they are viewing, indicating their presence and engagement.

For communication within the workspace, click on the Chat icon at the top to open the chat panel. Here, you can exchange messages with other collaborators directly inside the browser.

To manage your workspace settings, click on the workspace name at the top, then select options like ‘Edit’, ‘Delete’, or ‘Leave’ to modify the workspace as needed.

Note: Only collaborators can leave a workspace. If you are the owner of a workspace, you will only be able to delete it. Also, when you delete a workspace, it will no longer be accessible to you. Team members who are part of the workspace still be able to access it.
