Where each of the 20 new Sprites drops, what the five new powers do, and how to claim the free Quack Zero Point Sprite.

Where each of the 20 new Sprites drops, what the five new powers do, and how to claim the free Quack Zero Point Sprite.

The v41.30 update adds more than 20 new Sprites to Fortnite, pushing the total collection to 111. Most are hidden inside Relic Chests and Sprite Chests, a few spawn out in the world near specific terrain, and one of the rarest is handed out for free through Sprite Mastery. Here is exactly where each one lives and what it does.

Quick answer: Open Relic Chests for John Wick, Ironmouse, and the Llama Sprites; search Sprite Chests for the Grim and Cube Zero Point variants; explore high, mountainous ground for every Peely Sprite; and Master 55 Sprites to claim the Quack Zero Point Sprite free from the Sprites menu.

Every new Sprite in the July 30 update and where to find it

The headline additions are the John Wick Sprite and the Ironmouse Sprite, both tied to Relic Chests. Around them sit a wave of variant Sprites split across three loot paths. Relic Chests hold the Llama family, Sprite Chests hold the rarer Grim and Cube pulls, and the Peely Sprites only appear on high ground. Every location is listed below.

The three base Quack Sprites can be caught in the world or earned through Mastery, so you have two ways to complete that set. Peely Sprites are the outlier of the group, since every variant only shows up on elevated, mountainous terrain rather than in chests.

The five new Sprite powers

Although 20 Sprites were added, many are cosmetic variants that share an existing ability. Only five new powers actually change how a Sprite behaves in a match. Each one scales as the Sprite Levels Up.

SpriteWhat the power does
John Wick SpriteKnocking a player reveals others nearby. Mark lasts 3s and rises to 5s at max level.
Ironmouse SpriteRegenerates health when low, granting Cloak and low gravity while healing. Heals 60 up to 100 Health by max level.
Llama SpriteOpening ammo boxes has a chance to grant a weapon upgrade, from 5% up to 20%.
Peely SpritePings players with rare Sprites nearby but marks you on the map. Radius grows from 40m to 80m.
Quack Sprite variantsWhenever the Sprite earns XP, every other Sprite in your inventory gains 50% of that XP.

The Quack shared-XP effect is the practical standout, because it speeds up leveling across your whole collection while a Quack Sprite is equipped.

How to claim the free Quack Zero Point Sprite

The Quack Zero Point Sprite is one of the rarest in the game, but you do not have to find it in a chest. It is a Mastery reward, so the path is deterministic rather than luck based.

Master 55 Sprites. Mastering is separate from simply collecting, so keep Sprites equipped and earning XP across matches to raise their Mastery count.
Open the Sprites menu once you reach 55 Mastered Sprites and claim the Quack Zero Point Sprite from the Level 55 Mastery reward slot.

The lower Quack Sprites arrive along the same track, with Water at Level 35, Earth at Level 40, and Fire at Level 45. You know it worked when the Sprite appears in your collection under the Sprites menu and can be summoned with Sprite Dust in future matches.

Some Sprites may unlock later

All 20 Sprites were added to the game files with v41.30, and they currently appear collectable. However, Epic Games sometimes staggers availability, releasing certain Sprites through later events instead of switching them all on at once. The Cube Zero Point and Gem variants in particular are worth watching, since they sit in the Sprites menu even if they are not always immediately obtainable.

For now, the fastest way to build your collection is to keep opening Relic Chests, sweep high ground for the Peely set, and prioritize Mastery so the free Quack Zero Point Sprite lands in your menu.
