Own or gift this season’s Battle Pass before the Chapter 7 Season 3 deadline to claim the golden style and its matching gear.

The Starshadow Voidblade is a golden version of The Voidblade outfit, tied to the Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass in Fortnite. It comes with a full set of matching gear, and it is only available for a limited window before the season closes. You cannot grind it out through normal challenges, so the way you claim it matters.

Quick answer: If you already own this season’s Battle Pass (or you are an active Fortnite Crew subscriber), the Starshadow style and its accessories are being added to your Locker automatically. If you don’t own the pass, gift it to a friend before Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, and both of you receive the set.

What the Starshadow Voidblade set includes

This is a complete, themed bundle built around the same cosmic design, not a single skin. You get the golden outfit style plus matching weapon cosmetics and a glider.

If you already own the Battle Pass

You do not need to do anything extra. Every player who owns this season’s Battle Pass, including active Fortnite Crew subscribers, is being granted the Starshadow style and its accessories automatically. The reward lands in your Locker in the coming days, and players who previously gifted the pass this season are covered as well.

You’ll know it worked when the Starshadow Voidblade style appears as a selectable style on The Voidblade outfit in your Locker, alongside the Blade of the Cosmic Shadow back bling and pickaxe and the Starshadow Voyager glider. If it hasn’t shown up yet, give the rollout a few days to reach your account before trying anything else.

If you don’t own the Battle Pass: gift it

The other way to earn the set is to gift this season’s Battle Pass to a friend. When you do, both you and the friend receive the Starshadow Voidblade set. Gifting costs 800 V-Bucks, which is about $8.99, so you are covering a friend’s pass and getting the bonus cosmetics in return. You can also split the cost between you.

From the main menu, open the Passes tab.
Select Get Battle Pass.
Choose the Gift a Pass option.
Pick a friend from your list who does not already own this season’s Battle Pass. The gift only works if the recipient doesn’t have the pass yet.

Once the gift goes through, both accounts receive the Starshadow Voidblade set. Check your Locker to confirm the style and matching gear have been added.

Deadline and set details

The set is tied to The Void Unknown collection and The Voidblade outfit, which was introduced in Chapter 7 Season 3. The offer runs until Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, when the season ends. After that, the gifting method disappears. Old cosmetics sometimes return to the Item Shop later, but there is no confirmed date for the Starshadow set to come back, so treat this window as your best chance to claim it.
