Boundless Capacity raises your accessory slots from two to six across four trained levels.

Three accessories equipped on the Character Equip screen with the bottom row of accessory slots locked, Phantom Blade Zero

Quick answer: Initially, only two accessory slots are available. Learn Boundless Capacity at a bell; its four ranks grant one slot apiece, bringing the total to six.

How many accessory slots there are

In Phantom Blade Zero, press Esc, select CHARACTER, then open Equip to locate your accessories. The ACCESSORIES section is underneath Main Weapons, Phantom Edges, and Medicines. Its two rows contain three slots each, making six slots altogether. Two are available from the beginning; a lock icon marks each slot that needs its corresponding level trained.

How to train Boundless Capacity

Rest at any bell and choose Train Abilities. The tree has three rows, and each row is led by an item. Blackstone leads the first row, Sha-Chi Amber leads the second, and Complete Memory Flower leads the third.
Navigate with the arrow keys; moving the mouse over a node won’t shift the cursor. Select Boundless Capacity Lv. 1 in the upper Blackstone row. It’s the next node after the row’s starting point, and you can train it at the first bell.
Press and hold Space to train the node. Its card says “Adds 1 accessory slot.” and the button displays “HOLD Space TO TRAIN” at a cost of 10,000 Remnant Dust. In the preview, two slots are filled and the third is highlighted to show the new slot this level grants.

Come back to train Lv. 2, Lv. 3, and Lv. 4 once you can pay for them. Each level adds one more slot. If you change your mind, press P on the Train Abilities screen to reset all abilities and get your Remnant Dust back.

Boundless Capacity levels and costs

Each of the four levels costs more Remnant Dust than the one before it and adds one slot, taking you from two slots to six. The full abilities list has every other node and its cost.

What Lv. 2 needs

Boundless Capacity Lv. 2 is the central node in the second row, Sha-Chi Amber. Its card says “Adds 1 accessory slot.” and the preview highlights the fourth slot alongside three filled ones. Training costs 40,000 Remnant Dust and has two additional requirements:

  • “Prerequisite skill required”
  • “Requires 2 Sha-Chi Amber”

Collect Sha-Chi Amber Shards to obtain Sha-Chi Amber. The button displays “TRAINING REQUIREMENTS NOT MET” until you satisfy both requirements.
