Sukuna V2, listed in-game as Sukuna Shinjuku, is one of the heaviest-hitting styles in Lineage Piece, and the path to it runs through the Shinjuku Showdown area. Before you can even buy it, you need the Vessel race, the base Sukuna V1 style, and a stack of rare boss drops. The full unlock chains together quest activation, boss farming, a race change, two purchases, and a set of mastery quests.
Quick answer: Unlock the Vessel race with 20 True Sukuna Fingers, buy Sukuna V1 at Jujutsu Highschool, then purchase Sukuna Shinjuku from the Sukuna Shinjuku NPC in Shinjuku Showdown for 1 Slash Core, 5 Shrine Shards, 5 True Sukuna Fingers, 100 Cursed Shards, 10M Coins, and 10k Gems. Finish four mastery quests and buy a Shrine Scroll to unlock the final R skill.

What you need before buying Sukuna V2
The Sukuna Shinjuku NPC will block the purchase if you are missing either the Vessel race or the base Sukuna V1 style. Both are hard requirements, so secure them first. Trying to buy V2 without V1 equipped returns a block message at the NPC.
| Prerequisite | Where to get it | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Vessel race | Vessel NPC (Yuji), Shinjuku rooftop | 20 True Sukuna Fingers |
| Sukuna V1 style | Sukuna NPC, Jujutsu Highschool | 15 Cursed Shards, 20 Sukuna’s Fingers, 950k Coins, 6.5k Gems |

Add to Google Preferences →Farm Cursed Orbs and Sukuna’s Fingers first
Cursed Orbs are the base currency for summoning bosses, and they do not drop until you turn on the quest. Sukuna’s Fingers come from the Sukuna V1 boss, which you summon yourself.

Use the boss pity system to guarantee True Sukuna Fingers
True Sukuna Fingers and the Sukuna’s Outfit only drop from Sukuna Shinjuku on Hard difficulty, which has 320M HP. Rather than gamble on the drop, use the boss pity system. Pity caps at 25, and once it is maxed the Hard fight guarantees the rare drops.

Note: You need 20 True Sukuna Fingers for the Vessel race alone, plus 5 more for the V2 purchase, so budget several Hard clears.
Switch to the Vessel race and buy Sukuna V1
Purchase Sukuna Shinjuku (Sukuna V2)
With the Vessel race active and Sukuna V1 owned, return to the Sukuna Shinjuku NPC in Shinjuku Showdown. The style unlocks once you pay the full cost.
| Material | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Slash Core | 1 |
| Shrine Shards | 5 |
| True Sukuna Fingers | 5 |
| Cursed Shards | 100 |
| Coins | 10M |
| Gems | 10k |

Complete the mastery quests to activate the full moveset
Owning the style is not the end. Sukuna Shinjuku has a separate mastery track handled by the Shrine Scroll Seller NPC. You must clear four quests, then buy and use a Shrine Scroll to unlock the final R key move, World Cutting Slash.
| Mastery quest | Fastest method |
|---|---|
| Deal 1.5B Damage using Sukuna Shinjuku | Grind Quincy NPCs in Hueco Mundo |
| Defeat Sukuna 30 times | Farm the Sukuna V1 boss |
| Defeat Sukuna Shinjuku 20 times | Summon the boss on Easy difficulty |
| Use any Sukuna Shinjuku skill 250 times | Spam skills on Sorcerer Students |
After the four quests, farm bosses for a second Slash Core, then buy the Shrine Scroll from the Shrine Scroll Seller for 2 Slash Cores, 5 Shrine Shards, and 50 Cursed Shards. Using the scroll unlocks the R skill, World Cutting Slash, completing the moveset.
How to confirm the unlock worked
You know the purchase succeeded when Sukuna Shinjuku appears as an equippable style and the NPC stops showing the missing-requirement block. Each mastery quest displays its own progress counter, such as “Defeat Sukuna Shinjuku 20 Times (0/20),” which fills as you play. The final confirmation is the R key working as World Cutting Slash after you apply the Shrine Scroll, which you can test on a training dummy at Monument Isle.
If the V2 NPC refuses the sale, the two most common causes are not having the Vessel race active or not owning Sukuna V1, so verify both are equipped before spending the rest of your materials.
