Beast of Reincarnation: Necrosis (Chapter 6) Full Walkthrough

Every objective in the sixth chapter, from the Fuji Frontier climb to the final fight against Nue and Shidou.

Every objective in the sixth chapter, from the Fuji Frontier climb to the final fight against Nue and Shidou.

Necrosis is the sixth chapter of Beast of Reincarnation, and it leans hard into platforming and vertical traversal after Emma’s showdown with Rangifer. The goal is to track down Shidou’s Malefact across the Fuji Frontier Zone, clearing blight along the way and surviving two familiar boss encounters before the chapter closes.

Quick answer: Talk to Brad and Kagura, clear the golems, then chase the Nushi west through the pipes using Emma’s grapple and hair. Beat Nue Malefact at the extended bridge, follow the stone mural to the Wandering Merchant, and defeat Nue Malficient and Shidou together to trigger the closing cutscenes.

Leave the mobile headquarters and clear the Fuji Frontier golems

After the Chapter 5 cutscene, speak with Brad and Kagura before you head out. This is your last stop for restocking and trading aboard the mobile headquarters, so handle any shopping now.

Once you drop into the Fuji Frontier Zone, you’ll be surrounded by golems. Fight through them until the quest marker appears on screen, which points you toward the Nushi.

Track the Nushi’s whereabouts through the pipes

Chasing the Nushi is the core of Necrosis, and most of this stretch is traversal over industrial terrain. Emma’s hair and grapple do the heavy lifting between platforms.

Interact with the Dragon Vein Shrine, then follow the wooden path upward. At the top platform, hop onto the long yellow pipe and follow its trail.

At the dead end, extend Emma’s hair to reach the metal platform across the gap. Golems will try to shoot you down here, so grapple quickly onto the platform above the pipeline you just followed.
Use the grapple again to move across the overhead pipes and close in on the robots. Drop down once you reach the cliff, then defeat the nearby enemies and interact with the golem to continue the dialogue.

Keep following the platforms along the mountainside, swinging between pipes with Emma’s hair to cross the rough ground. Pass the turbines to reach the cave entrance, then rest at the camp.

Blow open the passages to the blighted tree

Past the camp, continue through the large passage that has to be blown open. The first blockage clears the way forward toward the interior.
For the second passage, the explosive barrel sits behind the blockage. Use the pipelines to reach a firing position, then shoot the barrel to detonate it.

With the passage open, run toward the giant blighted tree to update the objective and start the chase for Shidou’s Malefact.

Chase Shidou’s Malefact through the dungeons

Take the passage behind the camp, fighting a few mobs on the way. Cross the wooden bridge into the next cave, where two Antlered Malefacts wait. This double fight is unavoidable, so commit to it.

After the fight, interact with the camp ahead and loot the books from the nearby container before moving on. You’ll then enter an open dungeon where you must defeat six enemies to escape.
The trail leads to a stone path beside a giant statue. Take out the golems near the crossbow and push forward to the next camp.
A second dungeon sits across this resting spot. Inside, you’ll fight a Keymaster Golem, which opens a passage leading to another camp once it falls.
Use the control room next to the camp to press the buttons that extend the large bridge ahead. Cross it, and the Nue Malefact will be waiting on the other side.

Beat Nue Malefact at the bridge

This is the same boss you faced during The Vessel quest, so its patterns carry over. Every claw swipe and spinning attack can be deflected, and the two ranged threats can be dodged instead.

Aim to stagger the boss to open damage windows. Nue Malefact retreats once its health bar is emptied rather than dying outright, so expect to see it again shortly.

Follow the stone mural to the Wandering Merchant

Keep chasing until you reach the giant stone mural, then examine it to reveal the next trail. It routes you back through the same passage into an open area full of golems.
Fight through to the next camp. From here you rely on the upper platforms again, using the grapple to swing across the pipes until you reach an abandoned facility.
Follow the marker to the Wandering Merchant, who sells the Bell Sword and Purity among other items. Finish trading, then interact with the console beside the large metal door to open it. Nue Malficient and Shidou are waiting behind it.

Defeat Nue Malficient and Shidou

This final encounter pairs Nue Malficient, which keeps the same moveset from earlier, with Shidou. Focus on removing Shidou first so you can deal with the beast without split attention.

Shidou uses vines to strike as the beast winds up to leap, and he chains quick sword swings meant to catch you off guard. Be ready to deflect those combos, then punish the openings between them.

Once both enemies drop, they escape and a cutscene plays. Emma blacks out from the blight and wakes inside the mobile headquarters, where Violet warns her about her worsening condition. Necrosis ends once these closing cutscenes finish playing, and the chapter is marked complete when control returns to you.
