Minthara has long been one of the thinnest romance tracks in Baldur’s Gate 3. Her only steamy cutscene lives in Act 1 and is locked behind siding with her attack on the Emerald Grove, which means good-aligned players who spare the grove get a partner with almost no on-screen intimacy for the rest of the game. The first is her original goblin-camp sex scene, moved out of Act 1 so it fires in the Lower City camp instead. That change means you no longer have to raid the grove to see it.
The second scene is entirely new. It reuses animations pulled from other companion romances to build an intimate moment that belongs to Minthara alone. Its name nods to a deadpan joke she reluctantly tells in Act 3, when prompted to recount “the one about the man who married a drider” and answers, “It was a beautiful webbing.”

Requirements before the scenes will play
The mod builds on Minthara’s existing romance, so the relationship needs to already be underway. In the base game she must be saved during Decide Minthara’s Fate and reach at least 31 approval to open her romance dialogue at camp. Approval of 50 or higher, or the defeat of Ketheric Thorm while your commitment slot is empty, moves her to the partnered stage.
Keep in mind that Minthara is possessive by design. She does not tolerate other active romances and will automatically claim the exclusive partner position once her requirements are met, ending any other relationships in progress. With that partnered status in place, the mod’s Lower City scenes have the context they need to trigger during Act 3.
Spacing the scenes with the Act 2 alternative
If you would rather not stack both moments in the same act, there is a companion approach. A separate Beautiful Webbing mod from whatsontheflip shifts the goblin-camp scene into Act 2 instead. Pairing the two leaves the relocated encounter in the second act and the new custom scene in Act 3, which also gives Minthara more to do during a stretch that is otherwise spent recruiting her and untangling the cult that controlled her.
The Act 2 version no longer overrides Minthara’s vanilla romance scene, so it stays compatible with other mods that edit that content. It moves the encounter to a fresh location, triggers once you have enough approval and have agreed to be in a relationship with her, and plays after you go to sleep as a queued camp event.
Console availability
Both scenes are PC-only for now. Neither author has committed to a console port, and it is unclear whether one is feasible. Console mods run under tighter limits than their PC counterparts, and a change this large may simply be too much to bring over. Console players do have a lighter option in the meantime through a separate mod that lets you romance Minthara without attacking the Emerald Grove, though it does not add these Act 3 cutscenes.
For anyone committed to a Minthara playthrough on PC, A Beautiful Webbing is the most direct way to give her the kind of romance presence the other companions enjoy in the final act, without compromising a good-aligned run.
