Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Unlock the Summer Sizzle Lake Dock Rewards

The Lake Dock, Corner, and Boat Port pieces unlock at set milestones in the Deliver Some Sweetness duty.

The Lake Dock, Corner, and Boat Port pieces unlock at set milestones in the Deliver Some Sweetness duty.

The Lake Dock kit is the standout reward of the 2026 Summer Sizzle event in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it is the first set of dock building pieces the game has ever offered. All three parts are tied to the Deliver Some Sweetness duty, and the game never spells out the exact milestones you need to hit. The event runs from August 5 to August 18, 2026, so the pieces are only obtainable during that window.

Quick answer: Complete two Summer Sizzle daily quests to unlock the Lake Dock, four to unlock the Lake Dock Corner, and six to unlock the Lake Dock Boat Port. You get one daily quest per day, so plan on at least six days of play.

Lake Dock unlock milestones in the Deliver Some Sweetness duty

Every part of the Lake Dock set unlocks by making progress through the Deliver Some Sweetness duty. That duty is completed by finishing daily event quests, and each milestone hands you both the furniture piece and the recipe to build more of it. The first quest you finish also gives you the Summer Picnic Basket.

You will know a milestone landed when the item drops into your inventory and its recipe appears in the crafting menu. Before you reach the required quest count, the recipe stays locked and cannot be selected at any crafting station.

How the daily event quests work

Each day the event is live, you receive one random quest from either Goofy, Remy, or Ursula. A fresh quest becomes available at 5am in your local timezone, and you only get one per day. Because the Boat Port needs six completed quests, the full set takes a minimum of six separate days to finish.

There are nine possible daily quests in the rotation, and finishing any of them counts toward the duty. The tasks range from fishing and cooking to harvesting event resources.

VillagerTask
GoofyCatch two fish weighing more than two pounds
GoofyCatch five fish from Dazzle Beach
GoofyCatch five fish from Peaceful Meadow
RemyCook any Boba Tea
RemyCook Roasted Marshmallows
RemyCook S’mores
UrsulaHarvest one Pink Marshmallow
UrsulaHarvest one Blue Marshmallow
UrsulaHarvest three Purple Hydrangeas

When Goofy asks for heavier fish, the weight is shown directly under each fish’s name as you reel it in. Deliver two that clear two pounds to close out that quest.

Lake Dock crafting recipes

Once a piece is unlocked, you can craft as many copies as you like, provided you have the materials. Every piece uses Marshmallows, which is why it pays to gather them while the event is active.

Lake Dock8 Softwood, 1 Blue Marshmallow, 10 Pink Marshmallows
Lake Dock Corner4 Softwood, 3 Blue Marshmallows, 3 Pink Marshmallows
Lake Dock Boat Port6 Softwood, 2 Blue Marshmallows, 2 Pink Marshmallows

Where to collect Pink and Blue Marshmallows

Both Marshmallow types are exclusive to Summer Sizzle. Once the event ends, you cannot gather more until it returns, so stock up now and keep any surplus in storage for future builds.

Pink Marshmallows come from three special bushes that appear in the Plaza. Each bush yields four Pink Marshmallows per harvest and regrows after about 30 minutes. Blue Marshmallows work differently and spawn on the ground as sparkling pickups.

Blue Marshmallows appear across the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust. Each biome holds around one to four at a time and they respawn roughly every five minutes, with a cap near 12 available at once. If a biome is heavily decorated, check the edges, where they are most likely to spawn.

Tip: Since the Lake Dock alone calls for 10 Pink Marshmallows and Blue Marshmallows are needed for every piece, gather far more than you think you need before August 18. After the event closes, those materials are gone until the next summer.

With the Lake Dock set claimed, the same daily quests feed into the event’s other duties. If you want the remaining seasonal prizes, Share Some Sweetness and Savor Some Sweetness are the natural next tasks to work through before the timer runs out.
