Quick answer: Drop through the hole in the Tower Base floorboards, then lead the Powderkeg on the lower floor to the timber lattice. When its red ball explodes next to the wall, the wall breaks.

Where the cracked wall is

Within Weeping Creek Valley, the wall occupies the lower level beneath the hall where the Valley Sha-Chi Tower Base bell stands. It is roughly 24 m from the bell and 18 m beneath it.

It looks like a lattice of timber and machine parts set against the tower. Red light glows through the gaps, and an E prompt appears beside it. If you interact with it, Soul says, “Maybe I can lure a Powderkeg here to blow this open…” Nothing else happens.

How to get down to the wall

Rest at the Valley Sha-Chi Tower Base bell; this is where you begin the drop.
Circle the hall, passing the large iron vat, then cross the broken floorboards. Continue until you spot a shadowed opening in the boards.

Drop through the opening. The descent is about 14.5 m and costs roughly 665 health on Wayfarer. You touch down on the lower level roughly 8 m from the wall.

How to blow the wall open

Locate the Powderkeg near your landing spot. This little figure drags an enormous spherical red ball. Two Brutes are on this level as well and will join the fight.

Let the Powderkeg spot you. Once it does, it walks after you.

Guide the Powderkeg to the timber lattice while staying close to the wall. The red ball expands beside it, then detonates in a large burst of flame that sends timber flying.

Wait for the smoke to clear. The lattice is gone, replaced by rubble and a red room.

The game doesn’t show a card or prompt when the wall breaks. The empty space where the lattice stood is how you know it worked.

What is behind the wall

Cross the rubble; roughly 17 m farther on, you’ll reach a platform with a lift that ascends to the Crimson Manor.

Stay off the burning floor at the end of the hall

At the grated end of the Tower Base hall, a burning lava floor is guarded by a group of Bronze Men. On Wayfarer, a full 1,668 health bar drops to nearly zero in around 30 seconds.

You can reach the wall without crossing that area; instead, drop through the opening in the floorboards.
