Lucky Aura: Epic (Bound) does one thing in AION 2. It raises your chance of pushing an Epic skin up to a higher grade when you combine skins. It’s a bound Misc item, so the copies you earn stay with the character that earned them. You have three ways to get one: an achievement, a shop purchase, and Hidden Cubes.
Quick answer: Buy it from the Season Shop for 40,200 Oath Coin, earn it from the Fashionista achievement, or find it in Hidden Cubes. Each one adds 10% to Epic skin combination odds.
What Lucky Aura: Epic does in skin combination
The aura is a support item for skin combination. When the skins you combine are Epic grade, it raises the chance that the result comes out a grade higher by 10%. Sets like Steel Heavy Armor, Sandstorm Wanderer, and Tailor of Fate are Epic skins, so they’re the kind of piece this aura is built for.
The bonus only covers Epic skins. Combining Common, Rare, or Unique skins needs the matching aura from the same family instead.

There’s no crafting recipe for the Epic aura. Every copy comes from one of the sources below.
Season Shop (Oath Coin)
The Season Shop sells the Epic aura on its Consumables tab for 40,200 Oath Coin. It’s also listed in the regular Shop in the main menu. If you’re buying in bulk, keep the price gap in mind. The Common Lucky Aura costs 2,550 Oath Coin at the same shop, so a single Epic aura costs as much as more than 15 Common ones.

Fashionista achievement
Fashionista is a skin collection achievement with eight tiers: 10, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 700, and 1,000 skins. The Epic aura is the Fashionista VIII reward, which is the 1,000-skin tier. Along the way the achievement also hands out Common and Rare Lucky Auras, Kina (Bound), and the titles Fashionista, Fashion Forward (300 skins), and Empty Closet (700 skins).
Hidden Cubes
Hidden Cubes can also contain the Epic aura. Altgard alone has 59 Hidden Cubes spread across 1,371 possible spots, so opening cubes while you explore is the free, slower option.
Lucky Aura: Epic item details and trade limits
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Grade | Epic |
| Type | Misc |
| Required level | 1 |
| Max stack | 1,000 |
| Season Shop price | 40,200 Oath Coin |
| Trade | Cannot be traded |
| Character Storage | Yes |
| Server Storage | No |
Because it’s bound, you can’t use public or personal trade to move it, and you can’t sell it. It also can’t go into Server Storage, which means your alts can’t share it. Spend it on the character that holds it.
Pick which character buys it with care. A 40,200 Oath Coin purchase stays on that character for good.
Lucky Aura grades compared
Each Lucky Aura works only for the skin grade in its name. Use the one that matches the skins you’re combining.
| Aura | Skin grade | Bonus | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 10% | Shop, achievements, Hidden Cubes | |
| Rare | 10% | Shop, achievements, Hidden Cubes | |
| Epic | 10% | Shop, achievements, Hidden Cubes | |
| Unique | 5% | Hidden Cubes |
The Epic aura gives the same 10% as the Common and Rare versions. The Unique aura gives half that and only drops from Hidden Cubes. Once you’ve earned or bought an Epic aura, it lands in your inventory as Lucky Aura: Epic (Bound) and stacks up to 1,000, ready for your next Epic skin combination.
