The Iris Highland Form is the red-and-orange variant of Aniimo No. 011, and it is fussy about where it grows. It lives in Russet Highlands and nowhere else, and within that region there is a single patch of ground where it appears at all. Once you know the patch, catching one takes minutes.
Quick answer: Travel to Russet Highlands (Lv. 46–51) and go directly north of the Ruined Sanctum marker. Four Iris spawn on the snowy ground just to the right of the path, day or night.
Iris Highland Form spawn location in Russet Highlands
On the world map, Russet Highlands is the northernmost area, with Driftwise Meadow and Cerylline Vale beneath it. Since it is a high-level zone, wild Aniimo range from Lv. 46–51; Iris found there is typically Lv. 48 or Lv. 51. Bring a team sturdy enough to handle an unexpected battle while you prepare a catch.

The spawn is active in both day and night cycles, so there is no reason to wait for a specific time of day before making the trip.

A wild Iris Highland Form has a base catch chance of 38 percent, which means most attempts will need softening up first. Its durability is low, so it is easy to overshoot and knock one out before you throw.
- Breaking it multiplies your catch chance by 1.5.
- A backstab also applies a 1.5x multiplier.
- It sleeps at night, which makes approaching from behind simpler.
- Sparkling variants appear at a base rate of 1 in 20,000, so do not farm this spot expecting one.
You will know the catch registered when the Highland Form entry fills in under No. 011 in the Aniilog. Spare duplicates are not wasted — releasing one returns three Growth Bud, and reporting one pays out 100 Credits.
Iris Highland Form stats, element, and matchups
This is a Lumin stage Grass Aniimo in the DPS role, and its profile is built around magic damage rather than staying power. The Aniilog describes it plainly: these Irises are highland dwellers, and the mineral-rich soil is what gives them their maple-red color.

| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Aniilog No. | 011 (Highland Form) |
| Element | |
| Role | DPS |

| REGEN | 71 |

As a Grass Aniimo it hits Water and Earth targets for 1.6x and shrugs off Grass, Water, and Earth attacks at 0.625x. Fire, Wind, and Dark attacks hit it for 1.6x, and with 69 HP that is not a trade it survives often. Swap it out against those elements.
Skills, trait, and mobility
It only has two combat skills, so the rotation is short and repetitive. Both are Grass magic attacks on a 1 second cooldown.
| Skill | Power | EP cost | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60 | 20 | Damage | |
| Floral Storm | 30 | 13 | Barrage |
Vortex of Petals drops a wide swirl of petals at the target’s feet. Floral Storm is the sustained option: it spins while moving and fires homing petals, adding one more petal over time up to three at once, and you press the skill again to stop casting.
Disco Aniimo’s trait increases Damage Amp by 30 percent whenever it stands on grass. Each skill hit during battle adds 1 Dance Power, but hitting multiple targets at once still grants only 1. Once Dance Power reaches 24, the following skill uses no EP. While exploring, its Blooming mobility skill causes flowers to bloom wherever it dances.
Evolving Iris Highland Form into Irisal
The Highland Form evolves once, into the Nova stage Irisal, and the form carries over — you get Irisal in its Highland Form, not the basic one. Four conditions have to line up before the option appears.

- Raise the Iris to Lv. 18.
- Defeat the Alpha Irisal to unlock the evolution.
- Be standing in Russet Highlands when you evolve it.
- Have Sprout Stone x1 in your inventory.
Because the region requirement is tied to the form, plan the fight against the Alpha Irisal before you haul a fully leveled Iris across the map. Beat the Alpha first, then level and evolve in one trip.
When all four conditions are met, the evolve option stops showing a locked clue on the Aniimo’s page and becomes selectable. After it resolves, the entry updates to Irisal at Nova stage.
Once the Highland Form is logged, the rest of the family is a matter of travel rather than luck. The other Iris variants are keyed to their own regions — the Forest Form to the Forest of Falling Stars, the Grassland Form to Nimbus Fields, the Plateau Form to Driftwise Meadow, and the Mountain Woods Form to Beast Fang Ridge — so the same routine of finding one specific patch of ground applies each time.
