Jawling is spread almost entirely across the Russet Highlands, where 171 spots sit at levels 48 to 49, leaving just a single location over in Driftwise Meadow at levels 52 to 54. It is a wild Wind Aniimo, a small creature standing 0.9 metres and weighing 9 kilograms, and it fills the BREAK role in battle. It also shows up on the Operation: Egg Heist map, with sixteen spots clustered around the Ancient Altar, so there is more than one way to track one down.

Once Jawling reaches level 38, it evolves into Helmwhelp, so catching a few early gives you a head start on that. The area is dotted with chests, with one in view of well over half the locations, and you will spot loose items and the odd Aniipod near about a third of them, so it is worth a poke around as you go.
