The Whirring Android is an object you come across on two maps in ARC Raiders. In an ordinary round, with no map condition running, it has 45 spots between them, and nearly all of them are on Stella Montis, which holds 40. Pendola Pass has the other 5. If you want to run into one, Stella Montis is the map to queue for.
On Stella Montis, Medical Research, Seed Vault and Robotic Sandbox A have 5 spots each, more than anywhere else on the map, so start your search in any of them before working outward. On Pendola Pass, all 5 of the map's spots are at Cielo Sereno Observatory, so head straight there rather than sweeping the rest of the map.
