How to Find Awakened Boss Spawns in Blox Fruits (Secrets Master)

The Secrets Master in Middle Town tells you which Sea 1 boss is stirring, how long you have, and where to go.

Awakened bosses are the big-ticket enemies added to the First Sea in Blox Fruits Update 30, and they do not sit on a map waiting for you. One boss has a chance to awaken every hour on a given server, and unless you know which one it is, you can waste a lot of flight time checking islands that have nothing happening on them. There is one NPC that removes the guesswork.

Quick answer: Talk to the Secrets Master on the second floor of the big building in Middle Town and pick “Which boss stirs next?” to see the active boss, its timer, and its island.

How the awakened boss timer works in Sea 1

The system runs on an hourly cycle. Every hour, a random First Sea boss has a chance to awaken, and the Secrets Master starts revealing the details in the 10 minutes leading up to the spawn. Outside that window he has nothing useful to say about bosses.

Crucially, this is per-server. An awakened boss queued on the server you are in has no bearing on any other server, which is why hopping servers and re-checking the NPC is faster than parking on an island and hoping. If you jump into a fresh server, checking the Secrets Master should be the first thing you do.

Server hopping is done through the Roblox menu button in the top-left corner of the screen. Middle Town is a Safe Zone with PvP disabled, so you can stand around, read the dialogue, and leave without anyone jumping you.

Where to find the Secrets Master in Middle Town

Travel to Middle Town in the First Sea. Flying, boating, or spawning in all work; the NPC never moves, so there is no timing pressure on the trip itself.
Head for the large green-roofed building in the middle of town, behind The Saw’s spawn area. Go in through the front entrance.
Take the stairs to the second floor. The Secrets Master is standing on the upper level next to a stack of wooden barrels. Walk up and interact to open his dialogue.

Which dialogue option shows the boss spawn

He offers several lines, and most of them are flavor. “Tell me a secret, please!” leads to jokes about Middle Town and the missing island in the “…” region. Those are fun, but they will not tell you where to be in eight minutes.

The one that matters is “Which boss stirs next?”. When a boss is queued on that server, selecting it names the awakened boss, gives a countdown to the spawn, and tells you the island it will appear on. That is everything you need to start moving.

If he replies “Nothing is stirring right now. Even the monsters need a rest,” nothing is queued on that server at that moment. Either wait for the next hourly window or switch servers and ask again.

Sea 1 awakened boss spawn triggers

Knowing the island is only half the job. Most awakened bosses will not appear until you complete a small trigger on that island first.

Awakened bossIslandTrigger
Gorilla KingJungleHourly spawn chance at the clearing
ChefPirate VillageCook any Fish plus Yeti Fur in the Tavern cauldron
YetiFrozen VillageDestroy three green snowballs
Magma AdmiralMagma VillageDestroy every lava pocket on the volcano

Awakened Yeti is the clearest to read. Each green snowball you break around the spawn area lights a torch, and the boss only appears once all three torches are burning. Two out of three does nothing.

Awakened Magma Admiral asks for more patience. Circle the volcano and destroy every lava pocket attached to it. Miss a single one and the boss will not spawn, so sweep the whole structure before you assume the timer was wrong.

Awakened Chef is the odd one out, because you create the trigger yourself. Go to the top floor of the Tavern in Pirate Village, use the cauldron, add any Fish and Yeti Fur, then press Cook. You do not need the Secrets Master to announce the Chef first.

Awakened Gorilla King skips the object puzzle entirely and simply rides the hourly spawn chance at the usual Gorilla King clearing in the Jungle.

If a boss will not appear, re-check the Secrets Master before anything else. Chasing a boss that is not the one currently queued, or one queued on a different server, is the most common dead end.

How to confirm the kill counted and claim the rewards

You get two separate payouts from an awakened boss, and they are confirmed in different ways.

The first is the Awakened Boss Gacha. Deal at least 10% of the boss’s maximum health and, once it dies, an RNG wheel spins on your screen and lands on a prize. If the wheel appears, your damage contribution registered. The pool runs from 20,000–60,000 Beli and stacking 15-minute 2x EXP boosts up to Uncommon and Rare Fruit Boxes, Common through Mythical scrolls, and rarer drops including the Royal Nimbus accessory. Failing the boss’s pre-fight minigame does not lock you out, as long as you still do enough damage afterwards. This roll also does not share a cooldown with the standard Blox Fruit Gacha or the Magnet Gacha.

The second is the Island Secret reward, and it is not automatic. After the fight, go back to the Quest Giver or Pirate Adventurer NPC on that same island and talk to them. Completing the secret grants one Island Secret star plus Stat Points, Money, EXP, and Gems. Each First Sea island holds three stars, the First Sea has 40 Island Secrets in total, and progress here also feeds into unlocking the island teleporters.

Make the Secrets Master a habit rather than a destination. A ten-second check every time you load into a server, especially as the hour turns over, is the difference between catching an awakened boss and finding out it died five minutes ago.
