Gubbin is the limited Tier 1 creature added in Week 3 of the Summer Paradise Event, which went live on August 14th, 2026. It is a semi-aquatic herbivore with a snail-and-salamander look, and you cannot pull it from a gacha. The only way to add Gubbin to your creature list is by finishing the “Coral Snail” event mission.
Quick answer: Open the “Coral Snail” mission and complete all four tasks — grow a Tier 1 species to Age 200 twice, spin the Sea Gacha five times, collect three little clams during Monsoon weather, and experience a Blue Moon. Gubbin unlocks the moment the final task registers.

The four Coral Snail mission tasks
All four tasks live inside the Coral Snail mission menu. You can work on them in any order, and progress carries over between play sessions during the event window.
| Task | What it requires | Cost / notes |
|---|---|---|
| Grow a Tier 1 species to Age 200, twice | Reach Age 200 on any Tier 1 creature, then do it a second time | Free, but time-based |
| Spin the Sea Gacha 5 times | Five spins on the Sea Gacha | 150 mush per spin (750 mush total) |
| Collect 3 little clams from the Monsoon weather | Pick up three clams that spawn on the ground | Only appears during Monsoon |
| Experience a Blue Moon | Be in-game when a Blue Moon occurs | Wait it out or use weather tokens |

Note: The Monsoon clams and the Blue Moon both depend on weather cycles, so those are usually the two tasks that take the longest. Starting them early gives the growth and gacha tasks time to fit in around them.
How to confirm Gubbin unlocked
Once the fourth task registers as complete, the Coral Snail mission closes out and Gubbin becomes available to create from your creature list. You can then spawn it as a baby and grow it through its life stages. If the creature is not showing up, check the mission menu — any task that still reads as incomplete is the one holding back the unlock.
Gubbin stats, abilities, and growth stages
Gubbin is a Tier 1, semi-aquatic herbivore, which means it moves freely between land and water but still needs to drink to keep its thirst meter up. Its kit leans on mobility and defense rather than raw damage.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Tier | Tier 1 |
| Habitat | Semi-aquatic |
| Diet | Herbivore |
| Active abilities | Burrower, Jump, Reflect, Tail Drop |
| Passive | Climber |
Tail Drop is the standout ability. It distracts opponents and lowers your hunger at the same time. As Gubbin grows, it changes noticeably across stages — the baby moves quickly and can use Tail Drop, the teen can climb trees using the Climber passive, and the adult gains its shell along with a stronger roar.
Because Gubbin is a limited creature tied to the Summer Paradise Event, the window to earn it through the Coral Snail mission is finite. If you want it on your account, clear all four tasks while the Week 3 content is live rather than waiting until the event rotates on.
