The Sigil of Valor is a new pet Abyss Gear in Crimson Desert that turns a tame dog into an active combat companion. Once equipped, the dog will move on enemies during fights instead of just trailing behind you or fetching items. The item arrived with Patch 1.06.00 and is only sold by a single roaming merchant in Pororin.
Quick answer: Buy the Sigil of Valor from Lacey, the Secret Shop Merchant who walks the roads in Pororin Village, then equip it on a dog pet through the pet inventory tab. The dog will attack enemies automatically while summoned.

What the Sigil of Valor does
The Sigil of Valor is an Abyss Gear designed specifically for pets. It only affects dogs. When the sigil is slotted onto a summoned pet dog, that dog gains an attack behavior and will engage hostile targets during combat. Cats and birds do not gain this behavior, even if you own the item.
It does not replace your own combat skills or deal heavy damage on its own. Treat it as a way to add a second pressure source in fights, especially against single targets, rather than a power-spike build piece.
Requirements before you can buy it
You need access to Pororin Village and a dog pet on your account. Pororin is gated behind the side quest "Authorized Access," which involves reaching the village and receiving an item from a tree ent. Without that quest cleared, you will not be able to walk the village freely and reach the Secret Shop vendor.
You also need a tame dog. The sigil applies its effect only to dogs, so cats, birds, and the legendary Phoenix pet will not benefit. If you do not yet have a dog, the Hunter's Cabin route and Began Village near Pailune are reliable spawn areas for huskies, Jindoes, greyhounds, and Dalmatians.

Where to find Lacey, the Secret Shop Merchant
Lacey is a roaming vendor inside Pororin Village. She is not stationary, which is why many players miss her on a first pass. She circles the village roads on a loop, and the interact prompt only appears once you are within range of her current position.
If she is not where you expect, wait a moment or follow the road in either direction. She continues moving even while you are nearby, so the prompt can disappear if you stand still and let her walk off.

How to equip the Sigil of Valor on a dog
Step 1: Travel to Pororin Village and locate Lacey on the village roads. Approach her until the interact prompt appears, then open her shop.
Step 2: Purchase the Sigil of Valor from her inventory. She also stocks Palmar pills and the Sigil of Bonding, so make sure you pick the correct item.
Step 3: Open your inventory and summon your dog pet from the pet menu. The sigil only equips while the dog is active.

Step 4: Switch to the pet inventory tab and slot the Sigil of Valor into the dog's Abyss Gear socket. Close the menu and trigger combat. The dog should now move toward and attack enemies on its own.
Confirming it worked
The change is visible the next time you draw a weapon near an enemy. A dog with the sigil equipped will leave your side and run at the target, biting and harassing it during the fight. A dog without the sigil will keep following you or pick up loot, but will not engage.
If the dog still ignores enemies, check three things: the sigil is in the pet's Abyss Gear slot rather than your character's gear, the active summoned pet is a dog rather than a cat or bird, and the pet was re-summoned after the slot change so the new effect loads.

|---|---|
| Item type | Pet Abyss Gear |
| Effect | Pet dog attacks enemies when equipped |
| Applies to | Dog pets only |
| Vendor | Lacey, the Secret Shop Merchant |
| Vendor location | Pororin Village (roaming on the roads) |

If you have not visited Pororin since Patch 1.06.00 went live, it is worth a short detour even if you do not main a dog pet. The Secret Shop rotation also includes the Sigil of Bonding, which keeps shoulder pets from falling off during sprints and rolls, so a single trip to Lacey can cover both combat and travel upgrades for your companion.
