The Lost Rites are 12 proving grounds from Dark Arisen, each entered through an unusual door somewhere in the world. Strong monsters hold the way inside, and fighting through to the far end earns worthwhile rewards. Using the Proving Ground Compass from your Items menu reveals where the entrances are, and the map has 12 of them.

Interminable Corridor has the most spots around it, 58, with 7 chests. Daemons' Corral (55 spots, 8 chests) and Precipitous Catacombs (52 spots, 8 chests) come next, and Mired Conduit has 13 chests near it. After you beat a trial, its map icon changes, and it changes again when monsters return after a few in-game days. That makes a cleared site worth revisiting for materials, though the returns stop eventually.

Daemons' Corral, Devilkin Hollow, Molten Gauntlet, Seafloor Sepulcher and Sunken Spire can be entered freely. Precipitous Catacombs requires your Arisen's vocation to be magick archer or archer. In Shrouded Warren, only your main pawn may join you, and the others wait outside. Mired Conduit opens once you have beaten four or more trials, and Final Proving Ground once you have conquered both Molten Gauntlet and Seafloor Sepulcher.
